I've never seen croissant cooked that way but it works. There was a study some time ago about fresh and precooked sausage and turned out the pre-cooked sausage actually tasted better because it was cooked at the best and freshest time and didn't have a chance to catch off flavors. Good to see you back in my feed

I picked up one of them fiberglass mini fire blankets as an added safety precaution when using my alcohol stove, they're pretty heavy & I'm careful, but clumsy sometimes. Never thought to use it as a heat diffuser & windscreen on my Lixada/BRS-3000T stove, I'm gonna have to try that out 👍
But I did think about using it as a windscreen & heat reflector to bounce the heat from my campfire, back into my baker's style tent 😉
I love multiple uses things, thanks 👍

I tested a pad that goes on a high school chemistry bunson burner. The pad reflected so much heat back down that the can started over heating. Check if that material reflects too much also. Good seeing you again too!
