Fake mont blanc pens are actually quite nice to use though
Some resin Starwalkers have serial numbers on the side of the clip. I had to have the cap replaced by an authorised Montblanc repair centre and the serial number is definitely on the side of the clip instead of on the base of the clip ring. The clip also has the Germany Metal and Pix marks on the underside.
Heads up. New starwalkers serial numbers come on the clip.
indeed they do. it is in the same general area but certainly on the clip for a genuine limited edition starwalker.
They’ve definitely, and unfortunately, fixed the star size discrepancy since this video came out.

I got a Starwalker recently from the Montblanc boutique - the serial is on the clip.
It’s not on the clip on the premise that the clip is serviceable and therefore not a great place to put the serial number

The clip tip on the fake one is a thin sheet of metal folded and on the genuine once it would be a solid clip tip, I see a few fake once on eBay advertised as genuine.
There is a quick way to tell different between authenticate MB pen and fake MB pen by just identifying the A word from “Mont Blanc”this word printing on the pen . A fake one has a very clear A word label while authenticate one is actually up side down of “V” word as A word.
Replace "word" with "letter " and this makes more sense

Great video but I did purchase an Urban Speed from the MontBlanc in Lennox Mall, Atlanta and they do have serial numbers on the clip. 🤷🏾♂️

I just found a random montblanc lying around my house, I’m pretty sure it’s a fake thanks to your video! And also fun fact! The serial number on mine is the same as the one shown in your fake in this video, perhaps that’s the serial number on a lot of fakes?

This video makes me want to buy replica pens instead of the real one considering how close they are (both are just plastic pens) and how easy it is to lose one.
my mont blanc starwalker is made from platinum. forgetting where you put it last can be a bitch. worth every penty however.
You can consider to buy from the factory rejected goods store. The price will cheaper a lot compare to replica one, it just maybe has some scratch mark on the pen you may not able to release. For my case, I got the one from factory rejected store just cost me about 55 sgd. Overall , it is similar to authenticate made but little bubble on top of the star logo. Unlike replica one, the body of pen is a plastic material instead of metal which I think just buy a pilot G2 pen more sensible than buy replica MB pen.

pens is not an area where you want to invest a lot of money. just like my $250 nike's. I have $35 tennis shoes that are WAY more comfortable and perform better. you're just paying for the swish!! here you are paying for the little star. I think its ridiculous anyone would invest that money in a pen. put that in a 10 year bond and you will double your money. itf you want to look prestigious and not be at risk go with the replica. Its all about perception anyway.
