For the 1st time in my adult life went to a food pantry yesterday at a church. The gentleman asked for my name, gave my 1st name, which he complemented it's biblical meaning. That was it. Asked if I'd like a homeless bag or a pantry bag, I said pantry bag. Asked if I had been there before because he didn't recognize me, I said no. Noticed my eyes tearing up and as he handed me the bag of food, grabbed my arm and said everything will be alright and to come back every week if my family needed it. I honestly and truly appreciate what these people do.
