Took a healthy break from knife collecting and this caught my eye. Love the color mixing into the carbon fiber.
Just received my blue Bo. It's actually better then I expected. Great action out of the box and super slicey thin blade. The handle design is unique and eye-catching. I don't see the pivot notch being an issue unless you Loctite the heck out of it. This is a fantastic gentlemen's knife. Another winner from CIVIVI.

This is a badass looking knife looks like a great fidget friendly knife with great sound and great action which is a must for me. The blue version looks even better. I think I'm going to get me one! Great EDC!

The pivot screw hump broke off a Banter I had due to too much factory threadlocker, same as you. It's really unfortunate because that's all it takes to make the knife unopenable. I ended up selling as-is.
WE & Civivi would be even more amazing if they would simply begin using D-shaped pivots. 😃

I dicked around trying too decide if I needed the WE Espirit and they finally sold out. Hopefully i can score one when they get rest of there shipment.
I just got the blue CF Bo yesterday. It's such a great, lightweight EDC knife for under $80. Wish they used S35VN but Nitro-V isn't bad. I took mine apart to clean it and lube it. The thing is so buttery smooth. Looks and feels like a $150+ knife. It probably would be if it had a 20CV blade and titanium handles made by WE. This is now my favorite Civivi knife and favorite under $100 EDC knife.

You are right with that notch, it doesn't seem to be a good solution, a D-shaped barrel would be much better.
I prefer back spacers to standoffs, but other than that, I love this thing.
That notch-issue concerns me a bit, but nevertheless, I'm pretty sure I have to get one of these... Or two :D

This design is sweet, one of my most wanted Civivi designs for the fall.

I think they should keep the pivot as it is and ADD the D shape to the scale / pivot. The current design keeps the "C" lined up in the same place.
I think, Civivi's liner locks are a bit too thin to provide a reasonable amount of lock assurance. Their knives are very well designed, don't get me wrong, but i feel that their liner locks are a bit on the thin side.
Their blades are slicers not tank openers. That liner is fine.

I just got this knife in the mail. I'm disappointed, but it's my fault for not doing my homework. I didn't realize this knife was going to be smaller than my Elementum. This would be an awesome knife if it were bigger (like the product pics and videos make it seem to be).

That is very similar to the Harnds Wind. The build and tbe blade.
is it a HARNDS Wind with carbon fiber handle and nitrto v blade?
This knife reminds me of a crkt lck. I am not saying it is a stolen design just a little similar.
LOL only the handle is somewhat similar, but that is because it's a handle - not too many different shapes in the universe to be had; it has a completely different blade. You could make more of an argument about Spyderco Shaman a copy of Strider SMG than this.
Did anybody noticed tiny tiny wubble of blade when it is closed on his / her knife? I mean kind of like, that hole in blade is slightly to big for detent ball?

The liner lock is too thin. Even with regular use it will develop vertical blade play soon. They could put a thicker liner but they don't want to.

I hope mine has less voids in the CF than yours.
That blade finish looks like an old galvanized fence post. A satin finish would be much nicer. It's also about $20 too expensive.

I wish it was 3/4 of an inch longer blade and handle!! Seems like a cluster F, especially having to remove two T6 screws to even access the one T8 screw to disassemble and then hope you don't strip the pivot

Don’t care for the “new” WE/Civivi mini knife direction. However, it does save me money since I have no need for knives that size! (Not to mention the poor construction.)
