Hi Sean, and thank you so very much for taking us along with us to the Botanical Garden, such a beautiful place. I'm already looking forward to the orchid house visit since they are my favorite!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
That is a colossal garden. It dwarfs some tropical gardens I've visited on the East Coast and West Coast of the States. Sean, this tour was a thrill. It was the perfect reward for two days of searching and placing mail orders for just 3 cycads! Thanks for delivering this miraculous visit.
While this maybe true, which I personally doubt, the SBG is funded by Singapore tax payers ,n managed by NParks, a Statutory Board, I'm sure there are other beneficiaries too, like Singaporean businessman Peter Lim and CR7, the footballer. We owed it to Sir Stamford Raffles n William Farquhar, both botany horticulturist enthusiasts who started the first Botanic gardens in Fort Canning hill, it is still there today with nutmegs, herbs n spice gardens. Kudos to nParks who maintain this 165 years old Heritage gem for all to find a tranquil place n to love n care for nature n their existence for our Earth n eco system. Thanks Pak Sean/Shaun for vlogging this. Btw, William Farquhar is Justin Trudeau Ggggggrandfather.!
since when UNESCO funds projects in countries? And NParks never mentioned anything about UNESCO funding in their yearly income/expenditure statement. Where did you get this information from?
I really enjoy watching your videos. I love love indoor plants but don’t have much knowledge to take care of it. Thanks to you, and other plants RUclipsr who gave me the encouragement to buy different types of plants. I am not afraid to get more “babies” into my house. ❤
This is home and I used to go here almost every weekend! Singapore really is a beautiful city in a huge lush garden! Thank you for showing it off so well!!
That stage that you mentioned is called the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage. Activities (usually band performances) held there are free to public and take place in the evening when it's cooler and people and sit around on the grass patches to enjoy the performances.
Singapore Botanic Gardens, Gardens by the Bay, other parks and nature reserves come under NParks and are funded from government coffers. Many companies sponsor specific projects, programmes and activities. Usually there is a sign nearby that proudly proclaims the sponsorship😂
I think every town and cities around the world whether it's small or large should create a botanical garden. For people to be aware and educate about nature.
I’m soo happy learning about all these plants from you! It’s always calming and exciting to watch your vids! Thanks for teaching and showing us all plants things
Thank you for sharing this. You are right….the whole landscapes are so well curated and kept. I and hubby are already started to look at the botanic gardens map.
Thank you for the great video. I was there at Easter and absolutely loved it. I live in the North Queensland tropics and so much that they have there we have growing here also but there were many other plants that I would love to get my hands on.
Thank you Sean, that’s a very beautiful place. I wish I could help support you, I don’t know if you know anything about the U.S. social security system but as a retired senior our funding isn’t all that great and sometimes it’s a struggle. I love where you go and what you do and I wish I could help.🙁 Thank you again, thank you for taking us along, I get to see some very beautiful places that I would never ever be able to see if you did take us along with you. 🌷💚🙃
Thank you for the kind thought. It is enough to keep me going. You are helping me out a lot when you watch the videos and comment, because youtube will push the videos to new viewers. ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for doing this tour Sean! I moved from Singapore last year and used to walk at the Botanic Gardens a few times a week. It was one of my happy places 😊 I used to volunteer there sometimes as well and potted up many plants for them! 🪴
The Evolution Garden section looks so surreal! Didn't know that tree ferns could thrive so well on the hot lowlands. Wonder how the ideal growing conditions were recreated. Amazing!
Thanks to the bird(s) that contributed to the jungle effect of this video! Really loved the moss path, just looking at it from the video instills a very cooling and peaceful feeling.
We, Singaporeans, can only be proud of our garden when we share our joy with our neighbours and the World, thank you.
😀❤️

As the Singapore Botanic Garden has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so many improvements are funded by UNESCO.
