I was just thinking how nice it would be if there was holiday cabins at Loch Ness . Its lovely to see so many places are dog Friendly which is awesome .Not over here in Australia .As far as I know . That was a beautiful wander, Jamie and Sherpa...especially through the woods to the falls. Sherpa just walks along enjoying the different scents and checking everything out. Thank you for stopping to see the falls. Agree, the best trips don't have a rigid schedule, you actually have time to explore places you find along the way. It is so beautiful there. I know Nessie is famous, but the grainy gray photos of "sightings" don't do justice to the beautiful landscape.😊💙💙

My mom and I were there on a Thursday in mid-July 2012, and yes, it was packed!! It might have had extra people due the PGA Scottish Open starting that day. I had found out about the golf when I was researching places to stay in February and immediately booked our B&B right across from that beach. We stopped at a restaurant on the north side of the loch before going to the B&B, and met another American couple who were looking for a place to stay. I had to break the news to them about the tournament and warn them that they might have to drive all the way to Fort Augustus to find someplace open.
My Westie Cory loves watching Sherpa, I lol cause he follows him back & forth across the screen and when Sherpa is off screen he barks at the tv like …come back please come back…and when you say treat he wants one

. ...this brought back memories of a trip back to my homeland from Canada as a teenager in 1978!!...travelled around england scotland & wales on a 6week britrail pass stayin at overnight youth hostels with my older sister...in the days when that was a safe thing!!!...the world has changed so much since...we hiked up Ben Nevis in poring rain one day...it was very cold for July...not anything like the summer we left behind in Southern Ontario nr great lakes!!...but it def was worth the adventure!!...i totallly recognized this walk along the canal to Loch Ness..but it sure has gotten busier since...i went back there again in 1982 for my honeymoon & did the railpass trip again with my hubby whose of scottish heritage...it was an adventure i would love to do again as a 60yr old!!...maybe someday if the world settles down from all this craziness...🤔😉😁💖🐕🐺🐼🐈🐈💖...until then ill just enjoy Sherpas lovely travels!!..thnx for sharing your lovely doggo with us!!💖💖

What a wonderful video to watch, thank you for taking us on your journey to Loch Ness, what amazing views you captured. The view at about 18.31 with the hazy sun shining across the Loch towards the beach and Sherpa was spectacular. Sherpa looked worn out with all the walking, it took him all his time to get up his steps into the van but no doubt he recovered after collapsing on that very comfy mattress in the hotel room all ready for his next adventure with you.
When you visit a place that is so beautiful and you are at such peace, it makes even more difficult to pack up and go home. It did a world of good for both of you, it was just what the doctor (vet) ordered for precious Sherpa. 💙🥰🐾🐕🐾

Jamie, you inspired us to visit Scotland for vacation and see Loch Ness (and other sites of course), it was a good time. We managed to capture a view of the monster at a gift shop, even brought Nessie's cousin home with us. Thanks for posting these videos.
I would imagine it would be nice to stay in the cabin for a couple of weeks more. It was spacious, looked lovely inside, and the "yard", was great.
Please say Batdog is there. It's become customary to add a bat5 to the end.
The path next to the water, and scenery is just so beyoooottifuuull. But even more so when Sherpa is there!
Damn that was a lot of ducks lined up on the water's edge. If you ever go up to North Wales again (Anglesey, mainly, plus you can get the ferry to Dublin), there's a Puffin Island. You can only go by boat, can't step onto it as it's conservation but the puffins line up just like that. And there are so many castles, sites, cute villages, boats...lovely to visit.

The falls would be a good place to propose and then head on down to the cabin 🙈 The path was gorgeous. I'm sure the trees could tell us if there is a monster. It is pretty weird Sherp wouldn't go in the water. He never misses a dip. 😀

What beautiful Scenery. I always love your videos the places are just gorgeous. In Australia we have nice places but nothing like over in Europe . Jamie have you ever seen the white cliffs of Dover . Sherpa is the luckiest puppy to travel and see all those wonderful places. He is definitely very fit.
