Hi Brent, I have been your subscriber since your first Bangladesh video. I was born there and have not been back since 2006. I am enjoying seeing Bangladesh through your videos. My wife told me to tell you, if you are ever in NYC we would like to show you around. We also enjoy and appreciate your kind and patient style of engagement with people...all people.
Loving the vlog Brent, we really appreciate you’re positivity and love towards Bangladesh and in showing different parts of the country which in 1971 was a war torn country that is in the process of rebuilding itself up. No doubt this hotel is amazing but personally I have been to way better 5 star hotels and resorts in Bangladesh but again this hotel is so chilled and beautiful with very friendly staffs plus food is really delicious aswell.
I think you should visit The Palace Luxury resort which located Habigonj, Sylhet for me thats the actual 5 star rated hotel also one of most expensive resort in Bangladesh.
This is number one beautiful 5 star hotel in south Asia, 😊 Sree mangal is Number one most beautiful place in Bangladesh 😊 Welcome to sylhet brent broo🥰

Beautiful blog about my home district's greatest attraction! Yes, there are elephants in Sylhet and Chittagong. Now the numbers are receding for deforestation. In our childhood we would often see elephants parading through Sylhet town roads! Do you know one scene of film 'Around the world in 80 days' was filmed in LauwacharaTea Estate near Sreemongal. There was a scene of a train running which had to be stopped because a herd of elephants was crossing the rail line. David Niven was the actor. Later he went into the village nearby and found out that a young hindu widow was about to be burnt alive along with her dead husband( Satidaha). He then saved the women. The film won Oscar awards in 5 categories in 1956.
Hey Brent, I have a question, was this vlog (or to be precise) your stay at this establishement based on you providing a review for this Hotel? Loving the vlogs brother x
Hi Brent!! Many of the RUclipsr, travelar or influncer try to show the one sided Bangladesh. Like the poor people, slum, street food, scammer to give the negative vibes to the world. Thanks for showing the another side of my country. Even if you're in USA you both have Las Vegas colorful night and Philadelphia drug street, it's up to you how you want to show the world. Thanks again for showing this positive side my beautiful country❤
I am a Bangladeshi. My country is very beautiful and a tourist center. If our government wants to make a work-oriented country, then everything is possible. If corruption is stopped, I love my temperate country very much.❤🎉🇧🇩✌️ Thank you for coming to Bangladesh.
I have a question for you Brent. Does blogging pay so much that you can afford to stay in such expensive hotels or do you get a free or highly discounted stay to publicise the hotel and it's various facilities?
Nice to see different sides of Bangladesh 🇧🇩, than your bog standard Old Dhaka, with the filthy, dirty streets. It’s great to see a variety of cities and what they have to offer to the international tourists, as well as the local domestic tourists. I wish people of Bangladesh can learn to keep the country and wildlife clean, without throwing trash everywhere. The government need to take more action in keeping the country clean and giving the locals insensitive to keep their community clean and tidy.

I am from sylhet and been to grand sultan hotel,it is nice ,please visit jaflong ,bisnakandi, ratargul, sada pathor and of course my home town sylhet as you are visiting this part of the country .
As a Bangladeshi I can tell you that the most expensive hotel is actually the La Meridien hotel near the airport and the most expensive suite is 1,239 dollars approximately so yea it’s really expensive btw don’t go there I went to the restaurant on top and it’s 9 dollars for a scoop of ice cream they are batpars (scammers)
Tip is not something mandatory in Asian culture. You will see every hotel and restaurant includes service charge that cuts the tips along with your bill. In China or Japan if you tip that's considered offensive. In Bangladesh, they do take the tip though you don't necessarily tip them like US. Btw try to visit st martin and get a dhaka - barisal launch travel in biggest ones. You will surely enjoy that ride man.
