I completely agree. I am a homosexual man, but that is cumbersome, so I've always just said gay. I have never had any issue with being a man attracted to other men, but I have become more and more uninterested in lgbtqwhatever...I am not an urban culture, and I have no need or interest in being lumped together with the l or the b or the t...in fact, the whole t thing is just off the rails, and I don't understand how that has anything to do with me or why I have been forced to be grouped with the t. Orientation, identity and culture are not the same thing. You can choose your culture and identity. I don't worship female pop stars and I don't care about drag. I am not that gay. I just like sex with men.

I am gay (born male, still male), and I don't like being lumped in with trans people, because it's not even the same thing... I feel like I'm in some sort of weird labor union that includes disparate groups like "bakers, confectioners, millers, brewers, and bricklayers", lol ... I have no clue what it's like to be trans; I don't understand it, I've never lived it, I've never suffered for it, so I think I'm unqualified to be under the same "umbrella".

The trans 'gender identity' movement's agenda is to blur the lines and boundaries (it starts w/ the language) b/w sex, gender (an invention by some rather odd men), and sexuality, it's called 'queering' the lines and serves heterosexual men who call themselves women (autogynephiles) and insist on invading women's spaces and appropriating womanhood.

The problem is the trans 'gender' borg that wants to re-label everyone, e.g. homosexuals are supposedly now same-gender attracted instead of same-sex attracted--No-- LGBs (homosexual, bisexual) actually know what sex they are --it's in the name. And, no, I will not call a trans heterosexual male cross-dresser w/ a fetish a woman and NO to fraudulent, deceptive pronouns. Homosexuals are homosexual and women are adult human females.

I resent that the word has been foisted on me by some outside entity. Nearly any-and-everything gay-related is "queer this" and "queer that." And don't get me started with the ludicrous string of alphabet letters that is LGBTQA+. I'm sure more alphabet letters will be added to that string soon enough.

He's making a point, I think, about how ludicrous it is call yourself something you're not. Homosexuals are same-sex attracted not same-gender attracted as the trans 'gender' movement has tried to redefine them. The trans agenda is about using language to blur the lines/boundaries b/w sex, gender, and sexuality. This has real world implications for women's and LGB's sex-based rights. If male heterosexual cross-dressers w/ a fetish, autogynephiles/transvestic fetishists, can be considered women then women's sex-based rights are supplanted by male fetishists' 'gender identity' and all of women's hard-won rights and opportunities are lost including the right to single-sex spaces for safeguarding, privacy, and dignity, sex matters and language matters.

After all, underneath being gay, trans, disabled, black, white, blonde, man, woman, Hispanic, rich, poor, etc…., we all just want to be seen and acknowledged for who we are, not what we are. The “what’s “ are the things that ultimately divide.
You’ll see…and when that time comes, you will feel free. You won’t feel the need to defend…..it’s a relief. That’s the gift.
