I watched a special on Susan years ago. After her parents passed her family was very unkind to her . Susan has over come many obstacles in her life. As internationally famous as she was she still remained in the house she grew up in in the same little village.
Hello although she has stayed in her home she did have some alterations made for her self , Susan deserves ever little bit of adoration & praise she gets , and it’s a lot 🙂 the courage she has shown in her journey to the top , shows if you have a great talent find a way to get it out there , because if Susan hadn’t made that journey from Scotland, look what we might have lost , it doesn’t bare thinking about, thank you Susan for giving us you ❤️❤️❤️🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍

Unfortunately, she had a stroke. But they didn't stop her from showing up at PGT this year and singing for the crowd.

Darn right, I cried. I know exactly where I was sitting, and I turned to my 5 yr old son, and we both went Wild Horses. 😃 It was on a DVD that was stuck in my car stereo for like 2 years. We listened to it all the time, so my kids knew all the words. In fact, so did their friends, too. 😊

I met Susan in a restaurant I worked in, it was in Scotland not far from where she lives. She was so humble, nothing fancy about her at all , just a down to earth person.
Susan has a voice similar to Patsy Cline walking after midnight ... their voices ARE CLEAR AND CLEAN AND STRONG AS A BELL.

Yes... I believe she is on the autistic spectrum. Asperger's, perhaps? No matter. Susan is the epitome of an unassuming person with more talent than 90% of the so-called singers we have now. I will NEVER forget her audition on BGT. She wiped the smug expressions off of those biatches faces. She has had a very difficult journey. Thank God she was found. Still get goosebumps every time she sings.
The winners slipped into obscurity while Susan went on to worldwide fame. Her voice is beautiful and moves the listener emotionally. She was diagnosed with Aspergers (a form of autism) a couple of years ago. It makes it difficult for her to do public performances. I admire her courage in dealing with this while creating a highly successful singing career which has earned her millions.
Diversity didn’t skip into obscurity, they still perform today and have performed worldwide.

Susan performed on Britains Got Talent tonight. She had a stroke in April 2022 and has been working to recover to sing again. She is truly an inspiration and her voice never fails to give me chills. You might want to check out her video of Unchained Melody.

I've always thought Keith wrote this after he lost his baby son....Wild horses couldn't drag him away from young Marlon....I don't know if that's right, but that's how I heard it. Mick turned it into a love song which is often done.

When I saw her step on stage for her audition, with her Curley, somewhat unkept hair, her thick eyebrows, orthopedic shoes and “grandma’s “ dress, I could smell Nana’s brownies, I could taste her steamy pot roast, I could easily revel in comfort of Nana”s love, but never have believed a voice that could pierce so deep into my emotions.

I bought her debut CD album. I listened to it over and over again. Her voice is angelic.

Susan was born with Asperger syndrome. Which is related to Autism. She has faced ridicule ,teasing, and bullying from people in her home town from childhood to adulthood. Most everyone in the audience were so rude until she open her mouth and her beautiful voice was heard! People the world over came to love but many still were cruel she had several breakdowns from all the attention and stress put on her, she has made millions but lives very quietly in the house she grew up in. She is so special and so gifted. Some people are just cruel! Her idol Elaine Page a famous broadway singing star is one of them! Read her story! It is one like a kind of fairytale and also sadness! Great reaction and appreciation for this gifted woman. She sings “who I was born to be” and it brings me to tears.

Thank you for doing Susan again. I married my husband Dec. 2008 and we shared Susan in 2009. He died last year of COVID so seeing this was such a blessing. We adored her. She reminds me of the singers in Porgy and Bess when I was girl. She made my husband and I made us cry every time and get Holy Ghost goose bumps.
I still get goose bumps hearing her sing any thing. her voice is overwhelming and overflowing from her heart to give us the greatest of herself. a great blessing she is to me.papa 😊
Listening to Susan Boyle's singing is a religious experience in my humble opinion. She is or was considered Asperger's which is on the spectrum of autism which is a very mild case which means she does not respond to social cues according to the research in autism. Simon fixed her up and she has an international career. She is one of those rare talents like Judy Garland, Donna Summer, and others. She was better off not winning the main award at first. She had become exhausted from the media attention.
That Asperger's could be interpreted as that because she came from a tiny village. You have always given her a chance due to your compassion, Da Real, Sir. Thank you.

Susan made a special appearance on Britain's got talent this week and said she had a stroke a few months ago but is feeling better. Her performance was as outstanding as all of her others. She's an amazing singer
She came second but that was the publics vote. We all know she won and to be so afraid they had to take her away in an Ambulance. Never heard of the act that won again. Susan is wonderful. Thank you.
Her collapse was due to the pressure and undiagnosed Asperger's. She was able to take a step back, get treatment and support, and perform on HER schedule. She is living her best life now. She still lives in the family home which she updated. She performs when she wants to, and potters around in her garden when she wants to.

From what I understand; the runner up is usually in a better situation because the are not stuck under a contract and can make their own way with concerts and such. Bravo Susan.

She's doing well although she did suffer a stroke and for a time wasn't able to sing but eventually regained her voice. She appeared again recently on AGT singing with the Broadway cast of Les Miserables. You could tell she didn't move well.

Her mother was sick for years and Susan took care of her and the house for the two of them. Her mother knew she could sing and encouraged her to let the world know. But her commitment to her mom's health was first in her heart. After her mom passed away, she tried out and was so pleased that her mom, somewhere in heaven, was aware that she was fulfilling her mom's hope for her life. Never a boyfriend, marriage, kids... so when this happened she had to admit that she wasn't ready for all the attention. She had a bit of a breakdown and has come a long way since then. She is a world class treasure.

Susan Boyle is a phenomenon! You had mentioned about letting you know of anyone else on Britain's or America's Got Talent. What about American Idol? Iam (ee-um) Tongi is a phenomenon in his own right. His American Idol audition has pulled the heartstrings of even the hardest of hearts. He sings a James Blunt song called "Monsters" just two months after his dad passed away.
