Just made Phil's garlic leaf pesto served with fish, crushed mushed potatoes and asparagus. It was amazing and I could put smiles on my family's face. Wonderful. The dish will be our spring meal for years to come. Thank you so much! All looked very good and I'm looking forward to following all the recipes in this episode. Thank you!
love watching James shows, and his easy chat with his guests as he combines chat , and culinary skills,a few laughs along the way too.Makes his guests feel at home with banter and some laughter thrown in too Just wonder if a special less known personality would ever be a welcome guest to Jame's kitchen.? Ive followed an amazing singer performer, steve steinman for 20 years. Here is not a tribute act, but puts his heart and soul into performing songs written by the late great Jim Steinman, who also had his songs made famous by Meatloaf. Thankfully, both their memories are kept alive because of the shows Steve takes up and down the Uk, Scotland, Ireland too. He was originally the owner/ chef of his own restaurant before someone put him forward for Stars in their eyes, many years ago, portraying Meatloaf. His unique production, is just that, a production. He tours with a huge truck, with Anything for love, the Meatloaf story, which stars the original vocalist Lorraine Crosby, whos voice you hear on the Meatloaf track .Its full of great music, with his own band and lots of arena dates feature a full orchestra too. He sells out at every venue, also with his Vampires,Rock Ghost train. Hes had a no1 album and is currently working hard towards releasing his 2nd one He still loves cooking when he has a short break in touring. Hes got a cracking sense of humour, and i feel James and Steve together one morning, would make for a fabulous show.... There are so many artists working endlessly out there, with an amazing fan base, who deserve to join many celebrities, as a guest. Especially having cooking, chat and humour in common. Steve on his " Harley" meeting James around the Howarden hills, would be fab!!! Keep up the great episodes James, always a great way to entertain us all....we can enjoy the cooking without having to do the washing up!
Such an amazing person that taught lesss in an hour than i ever knew about cooking food i cannot purchase in my country rhan i would ever. Need ro know . I think he/she/it/ they need to spend 15 mins in any yk supermarket to figure that watasabilly is not avalable in any store anyone has ever been in or likely to be in unless they are in an all inclusive deal where they do not need to cook. Please atay off our screens so we watch ads for dog food when we do not even own a dog. It would make more sense right?
he actually did make ghee, he should have past the butter through a cheese cloth to remove the solid that settled at the bottom of the pan note he only used the top of the butter
Ghee is clarified butter so I guess the answer is yes. It is those little bits of common knowledge that sets many apart from those that make the show and watch it, from those that see it for what it is and flick to the adverts

I think he laughs more at the idiots that buy into his/her/they ideas
Yawns . Stick to cooking and do not detract
Steve on a Harley is a nice idea as at least one can purchase a Harley within a few miles.

Background music is drowning out Clare Smyths cooking instructions, very frustrating.
Why post it on here when its already on itvx player ? Strange.
😂👍👍👍
Can you use Ghee as clarified butter?
Ghee IS clarified butter, but cheaper to make at home. Just gently warm butter until solids separate, and bingo clarified butter.
