I like these that have the cigarette ads in them.
I wish the ones on the DVDs from Alpha video did.
They really set the time period.

Originally telecast on December 20, 1951. [Thursdays, 10pm(et)].
Jay Jackson, who spoke for Philip Morris (his commercials were filmed in New York), is best known for appearing as "Herb Norris", the emcee of "The $99,000 Answer" on a 1956 "HONEYMOONERS" episode.

Indeed. This calls for a healthy, delicious, vitamin filled cigarette.

Philip Morris' claims were about even with other cigarettes marketed at the time {besides "proved definitely less irritating" and "proved definitely milder", they also stressed, "You can SMOKE FOR PLEASURE today- with NO CIGARETTE HANGOVER tomorrow" during this period}. The difference was, their brand was "on the skids". Sales declined considerably during the early 1950's- even when they sponsored THE #1 situation comedy on the air [29:12]

Can you imagine people going to all this trouble to scam someone now?
All they have to do now is send an email.
BTW does anyone else recognise Reed Hadley from atomic bomb test footage?
The Operation Ivy testing of the fist H bomb is my fav but I enjoy all of them.
I was surprised to see him smoking a pipe rather than enjoying "America's Finest Cigarette."
Anyone here actually smoke Philip Morris back when you could get them?
Not talking Marlboros or some other brand made by PM but the Phillip Morris brand that sponsored this show.
