I like the pushback Adams is getting because it forces him to explain some of the logistics behind his actions while citing some of the fruits of those efforts. Adams explains that many of the education budget cuts are due to the end of covid aid, which, for me, tells me that educations budget was bad to begin with prior to covid and its lockdowns. So, when someone says education is cutting programs - yeah, because the government aid (which wasnt permanent) is no longer there. That isn't Adams fault. As for the immigrants, Texas sent them to NY and he made moves that, in one eay cited here, benefited the black and brown business owners. If we kick the can down another level, one should ask another question, what are those black and brown business owners doing with the sudden influx of immigrant dollars? He's being challenged about radical change, and that Trump made radical actions (note: citing no examples of said action) , which gives Adams another opportunity to go into detail about how he put money back into black and brown communities. If this is all true, then again, I ask how are the business owners contributing?
