I love the Lotus Esprit best...when it comes to Bond cars. And my favorite Bond is Roger Moore. What a great talent you have to be able to fully restore and box this beautiful Corgi. 👍🏻
Wow! My brother had one as a kid. Being a younger brother I loved that toy and played with it whenever he wasn't around since it was his favorite car to play with and didn't allow me near it. This restoration is very well executed. You went even further by making the box for it as well. I had forgotten that one but when I saw the end result it came back to my memories. Compliments to you!

This was my favorite toy growing up and is currently in the next room. When the drawing for the rockets popped up on screen, my breath caught. Haven't seen one since 1979. It was a real pleasure seeing you bring another Lotus back to life. I see that one was well loved too.
I got rid of the wheels on both mine, just smoothed the bottom of looks mint....no screws or fixings. You may need to recheck your rear fins as they should lie flat when closing rear bumper
Paul, as always your work efforts are superb. Fantastic restoration. You are a Master craftsman. Great techniques that can be employed on any model rebuild. Keep up the good work efforts and thanks for posting the video for all of us viewers.
I used to have one of these where the wheels actually flipped up into the bodywork, Im not sure of the manufacturer. It didnt have any 007 decals on it. It was the early 80's. Amazing to find one with the missiles still with it! Great restoration 👍
To be honest I always thought this was naff as a model, not a car but instead a sub.(and non-submersible!) so you couldn't zoom it. But one with real wheels! That flip up!! If I were a child again, I'd go for that.
Hey Paul This is James I Like the James Bond Model Cars you doing . I was born in 1972 when those Movies Started coming out. There's nothing like the original James Bond.
Hey James, I'm a little older than you, but I started watching James Bond films around the same time as you, because in the 1970s they were unavailable in Poland and I also became fascinated with Bond films from that period.
This is amazing a pleasure to watch This model is so complex! I have one in 1.18 scale This is my favourite Bond car Love the film too The car chase and sound track and when it dives into the sea and transforms...wow! Excellent resto Also the box is out of this world So well done!!!
Another classic brought back to life. Mine (that I still have in excellent condition) must be a earlier one as it has the correct license plate of PPW 306R.
What’s great blast from the past. I owned this car as a kid. Lost the missiles in like two days, but played with it for years. Great job on the restoration.
Totally amazing. I used to have this car as a child, still had it a few years ago but gone missing in a house move 😭 I think the new rockets are too long, I remember my original when they were pushed into the tubes ready for launch they would sit almost flush with the rear screen. However that is a minor observation for an incredible restoration!
