It's really odd caesars legion can't use healing powder considering in game they can always be found having healing powder on them it's a little odd hopefully they patch that or something
True, but not (technically) in FWW - it's a chem item, which the entire faction aren't allowed to use due to their rules. Lots of homebrew folks allow Legion players to use powders though, for exactly that reason.
I think I am going to struggle not to do Monty Python Life of Brian quotes with this faction "Stwike him centurion! Werry Wroughly!", or "What have the Romans ever done?".
Linked my buddy to you, your content is wonderful and I like that you share ideas for builds and show the ideal weapon cards with the unit cards, Along with telling us unit costs. That really helps brainstorm builds.

I'm sure we'll get him with other named characters and maybe marked men I really want to see the armor of the 87th tribe on a mini plus we still haven't got the veteran legionaires
I might be mistaken but isn’t the blue dice icon on the scout and Lenius means that they have access to VATS? Rolling at the beginning of their activaton and getting a quick action by rolling a star? Great video anyways!!
It's a VATS ability, but it's triggered anytime you roll the corresponding symbol including attacks and skill checks. So using a weapon with a blue die does a lot to increase the usefulness of the ability. And many thanks!
@@robertsarasi392 I had to go digging through some playtesting forums, but I'm (fairly) certain I've deciphered it correctly. The special effect die is still a bit of a wild card sometimes

I can’t see anywhere in the rulebook or the errata where the situation you describe for the Legion Scout and Lanius, where they need to equip a weapon that rolls a blue effect die in order to get the VATS benefit. If that really is their intent for these models, they need to update the errata. It really looks like they come with VATS baked in on the card.

Quick question: I’m trying to make a dead horse warband with Joshua leading it, do you think Caesar legion is a good fit for proxying or would there be a better faction?
I want to use the houndmaster with a swarm of mongrels. Would any of the "command: X" perks on him affect the dogs? I'm new and confused how the upgrades work. They all say creature does this, creature does that...but nothing for the dogs? What am I missing? If I can't use these upgrades for dogs, I may as well make someone a beast master and command a swarm of mirelurks 🤣

I've played these guys since they came out early last year and still love them but I do hope we get some more characters eventually. Like, sure we have Lanius, who I LOVE, but what's Caesar's Legion without the man himself? The Minutemen got Preston, the Brotherhood got Maxson, the NCR got Oliver and the Enclave got Autumn so why can't the Legion get Caesar, you know?

I think it would make sense to let them have access to it. Re-classing healing powder as a "food" item would be a super easy fix.

I like that they have a lot of various units. I don't get why other factions don't get the same treatment.
They have lots of unit options, but are all very specialized compared to their NCR rivals

They can't use healing powder? Thats like the one thing they make at their camps in game as its a natural remedy not a chem
