I haven't watched esme regularly for a while but I'll always owe her a lot for making my childhood that bit better as a horse obsessed girl. I remember when I used to watch her riding story video on repeat, wishing for the day to come when I could make my own dreams of owning a horse a reality. Now five years later, hearing her talk about her journey with casper, I've realised that that little girl's dreams have come true in the form of a pony who is actually very similar to casper. Last year I got the wonderful opportunity to start leasing a grey connemara pony named Mallow, who has been anything but an easy first horse. I got my first injury from falling off him and hit some rock bottoms because we didn't understand each other. Over this last year I've spent countless hours (and shed some tears) working on building a solid relationship with him and overcoming our issues. It's taken a long time and may still not be the perfect situation I once dreamed of, but that's just horses, isn't it. Thank you esme for being such an inspiration to me and giving me hope for tomorrow, and the days after that. To anyone out there still waiting for their day: it will come, I promise you. ❤
Esme takes such AMAZING care of her horses, and keeps the space clean, she is truly a real Equestrian. Love you Esme! (Can’t wait to read the book!) ❤❤
When i was 6 years old i started watching you. You inspired me to keep going with my riding and im currently doing amazing jumping around 1 meter! Thank you Esme! ♡♡
I remember when you got Casper and how you had considered going for a “better” (meaning more expensive) horse but chose to keep Mickey instead and so you had to “settle” for Casper… but hey it turned out to be a match made in heaven!! Also it made me (and I’m sure many others too) respect you more for your decision to stay with Mickey after he had given you so much!! Casper may have not been an Olympic medalist, but he’s been awesome regardless!! Looking forward to all your new adventures

We owe it to you too Esme, I started liking horse a little later in life and having a single mom living in the city didn't help at all (also had really hard time with metal health) but I'm 18 now trying everything in my soul still to get into horses but when I was little girl dreaming of just being able to be around the horses, you made it feel real, you made it feel more possible, I would day dream into your videos (lmao sorry if that wired) and i just want to say thank you for that. You and you videos were there for that little 11 year old girl more then anyone else was so thank you so so so so so much Esme I love you like an older sister

I love this video ❤ , a few riding dares I came up with were, ride either casper or joey no bridle, while you are blindfolded caster and joey are let loose in the courtyard and the first horse who touches you you have to do dares on, have each of the horses pick out a part of you outfit, blindfold while tacking up, set out some cones relatively close together and you have to jump them each time remove 1 cone and try get to 1 cone left ❤❤

you inspire me so much and i hope to one day be just like you and have my own pony, i new you were going to make another ssg book and i knew it would be daniel’s point of veiw and i think its going to be yellow, dukes colour the first one was blue, mickey and he was your first pony, the second was purple, casper and he was your second pony then the third was green, joey. he is your third horse now its gotta be duke your fourth pony and his colour is yellow. i cannot wait to see you at the horse show im so excited and i have seen you at most shows, i remember when i went to hickstead a few years back and met you and mickey and i was there early so i could watch you arrive and unload him, i also remember the london international horse show and i remember giving you a painting i made with you and max’s names and the horses and donkeys i put the horses names it their colour and the donkeys too it also had a black background and had merry christmas on it, cant wait to see you again i have seen you about 6 times before and my dad always jokes about one day you might remember me but i told him that you see loads and loads of people so it would be imposible 😂. cant wait to see you again. also would you have any tips on bareback riding as i will be doing it in my lesson next thursday and the pony i use is always very spicy so i will probably go flying and im quite nervous but also excited, and one more thing could you please make mor horse challenges with max and also some more night life of the horses as i found the last one so funny and especialy when the horses break the camra and mickey gives it a lick attack. but anyway thanks for makeing such amazing videos, keep it up ❤
