It’s unfortunate for those people who don’t like Dimash. Dimash’s voice is so special for me and for a lot of the people (dears). It’s touches hearts and souls and brings indescribable feelings. I am happy I can feel and appreciate Dimash.
Although "SOS" originated in a French-Canadian rock opera, "Starmania," in the 1970's, Dimash first discovered it when Gregory Lemarchal, a contestant on a French talent show, performed it emotionally several times just before dying at the age of 23 awaiting a lung transplant in the hospital. Gregory had Cystic Fibrosis and had to sing, dance and act on that talent show with just 25 percent of his lung capacity. Nevertheless, he won that season's show and Dimash was inspired enough to grab the song with its emotional lyrics and make it his own. Later on, Dimash's best friend, Kazakh Olympic figure skater, Denis Ten, was murdered at the age of 25 attempting to keep hoodlums from stealing items off of his car. Dimash has sung the song in tribute to Denis as well. The deaths of two others who were close to Dimash----his long time teacher, who died of Covid, and his grandfather who died last year, have added to the meaning of "Why do I live, why do I die," and result in Dimash singing it so passionately each and every time. Incidentally, the original performer of "SOS", Daniel Belavoine, died in a helicopter accident in his mid 30's. So much tragedy associated with such a beautiful song.

I understand it. Sometimes he sounds shrill to me but for me, he is the greatest vocalist of all times. I can not go a day without listening to Dimash. I am partial to his lower register because it is so warm and rich but if Dimash is singing anything, I am there.

I believe this performance is adjusted for audience, as he always does. This is in Belarus, mostly Slavic audience. So he's less exaggerated on his emoting and movements, more restrained. In China not only is the taste more dramatic, it was a world-class competition so wow to the max mode. It's hilarious but he's actually toning this down here 😂

Widely recognized as a genius in music and in business.. " in addition, he's writing a PhD thesis for his Doctorate in Composition.

They've decided against the working title they had and choosing another. I'm told ctitics have expressed a liking for the project and the people involved are evidently top notch. Then there's post production so no air date yet. I saw some of the fim on his organization and it was gorgeous. The place is enormous on a landscaped campus of buildings, studios, full stage, facilities for filming, warehouses, no telling how long they were there for that and just one ! Warehouses for merchandise and product sales and distribution, Creative Center, in addition to all the ongoing projects, he personally produces and manages his entire career in house down to ticket sales, the only artist in the industry doing so, and one of the reasons he's considered a world class businessman.

I guess I have one of those weird comments that you get. The thing that I observed this time watching your reaction was how quickly I was frustrated. You pause or interrupt in awkward spots. Then you don't rewind 5 seconds like most when continuing. It's still the reaction that most of us come here for rather than the education or the appreciation of the song. At that moment when we are all expecting that climactic feeling with that note being sung and then pausing it right in the middle of it or in front of it or immediately right after it seems uncomfortable. It makes me think you want to be heard, as if that's the important part. Choosing what you feel versus what you know at that moment to share, while Dimash is "stimulating" us, is tricky. Then there's always the silent reaction of😮😮😮😮. Lol. Good luck with all your reactions and just giving you a tip...don't hate me.😅
With Dimash I figured out a timing that seems to stop any copyright so I’m simply pausing to a timer that’s all. I do try to find places when possible. Don’t worry I don’t hate you lol.
