Why do we only get 2 minutes of a happy couple at the end? I’d have liked to see grandma with the kids. We didn’t even get to see the Dad with the kid. In the storyline, the ML should have had some face to face with the baby.
A really smart guy who knows what he wants... He trusts her, helps and supports her. It was great to see how FL finally frames SFL [bad characters], that she shows their real faces step by step, it's probably 2drama where a bad person is framed [and a super stepping stone]
This was a great watch and rewatch. The flow of events were on point. FL was focused on recouping what was taken from her and her Mom. I disagree with "she did evil manipulations".... she didn't harm anyone, just outsmarted them. Writers/screenwriters.. these are become better dramas. While I love Chinese drama, film makers show a disproportionate amount of violence against women and children by scheming blended family members (neglectful abusive fathers and vicious step sisters/mothers). It saddens me to think this is how China is represented, though it may be true (which I do not really know). Even so, the actors do an amazing job in portraying realistic feelings and poses, which in turn, elicits an emotional response from the viewer. In the future, I hope to see less narcissistic violence in storylines. Nevertheless, we need heroes and good guys to win in the end. Thank you for your efforts. Great acting!

I’m not a fan of manipulation, I don’t mind it if your doing it to the bad guys, but it’s not fair to the innocent bystander. It’s evil to me, and isn’t something easily forgiven, in my opinion.
What innocent bystander(s)? Re-watch this drama again and identify who was it that the FL harmed, .. I find no one. She did revenge to get justice for what happen to her Mom and herself. What was evil about her outsmarting and outmanuvering her Dad's new wife who had her Mom killed just to marry a rich man, lied about the paternity of her child, antogonized the FL abroad...etc.,... She did not use evil methods, but smart evidence of facts to counter the StepMother and the sister.
@ the guy she went after that was her child’s father. He was drugged, she was drugged. Every one else wasn’t innocent, those two were the victims. She did that to get back at the sister/aunt and stepmother, and father. Fare game, they deserved it. I just don’t like revenge stories that play with innocent people. In my opinion it’s wrong, it’s not my favorite plot, I actually don’t like them at all, other people getting hurt for your vendetta that have nothing to do with the revenge except to get somebody mad, angry, or hurt. I like a good revenge plot, seeing them get what they deserved is awesome! But, ML was used and he was a good person that had something done to him. She played with his heart, I don’t like that.
FL, to get her revenge, uses the greentea style somehow to win ML. ML, is a real CEO here who would investigate & observe carefully first to see who is/are really scheming. His investigation team missed about the child though.

The kid was so adorable and totally age appropriate. More scenes with them as a reunited family would have been nicer than the wedding dress scene.
