I've just binge-watched 2 years worth of classic Corrie at a fairly crap point in my life. I stumbled across it on RUclips after too many wines about a week ago. Thank you ProfessionalGun66 for the quality uploads of a British show that reminds us all of when Corrie was unmissable. Keep 'em coming. xx

I loved Renee, she was a great character, funny, sarcastic, quick witted.... then she met Alf and I thought their relationship was brilliant. I saw her die on screen when I was 7 and have never forgotten the sight of her lying on the seat, staring... for me it was a shame they killed her off.

The actor has appeared as several different characters in Corrie over the years - on this occasion quite an unpleasant piece of work, believable acting on Betty's part looking fearful and wary as soon as he walked into the shop to confront her

Alf wasn’t even at the damn wheel when Renee died & her car was stationary.. FFS!.. it was a pure accident..,
