Looks delicious and our two favourite flavours! 💗
Mine too!
I know this bar and my friends and I are loyal customers. I recommend it, if you go to Praia a mare you can't miss a stop there... You won't regret it😉
Thank you Carmela! We love it too! I will tell Gianfranco that you commented here!
Grazie tantissime, Chris! I can almost taste it. We’ll be in Italy in June, starting in Bologna. Ever since having pistachios (always from Bronte!) in pasta in Sicily, I buy the ground ones in oil. In Italy, they sell them in jars and I buy enough to take home to make pasta con pistacchi. My last lunch in Sicilia: linguine with roasted pistachios from Bronte and fresh, raw sea urchin. Of course, as you mix it in, it “cooks”. Surprisingly, I ordered this stunning dish at Sicilia Outlet Village! No outlet on North America serves that quality of gastronomy! 😍
Hi Catherine! Oh that sounds amazing! I will look for the paste in jars to take to California as gifts. I love pistachios in just about everything!
i love Gelato !!!!! could eat that whole bucket
We could too ... so tempting!
WIth such good fresh and good quality ingredients I guess there is no space for artificial substances. Great video.
Thanks Rene!
Ho l’acquolina in bocca! Thank you Chris, I have never tried this “gelateria”, maybe I see you there 😀
I would love that! His is sooo good!
That was fun to watch and I bet even better to eat!
Oh he makes the best! We will go when you arrive. I hope he continues to make it through the Winter!
Yummmm
Indeed!
That was fascinating! Would be fun to work in his kitchen with top of the line equipment and quality ingredients. Love 💕 gelato. Was interesting to learn the difference between ice cream and gelato.
You can really see what it takes to make a top-quality gelato!
Omg Chris! My mouth was watering! I absolutely love pistachio gelato... what a wonderful place🍦
It's a fantastic place!
I’ll be eating this Tuesday, I cannot wait!
YAY!!!!!
Oh Chris that looks so delicious 😋 nice to have the opportunity to enjoy the making and results haha 😛. Delicious 😋
Hi Yamirka! He makes the best gelato. He just seems to have the magic touch. it is so fresh and flavorful. I hope you can come and enjoy it.
A master of his craft. Very interesting. Antonio at Chiazza also makes his own gelato and many flavors. Sadly, he doesn’t keep it in stock in the cold winter months. BTW I have seen Chris eat gelato three times a day! Loves her gelato! I want to try this gelato next time we go to Praia Mare!
Hi Bonnie! LOL! Yes I went gelato nuts this last Summer! I love all the flavors and Antonio makes fabulous gelato as well.
Oh Chris, I just love a good gelato! Would be so nice to be at the Rio Plaza Cafe enjoying a double scoop with you guys.
Let's plan a visit!
Hello Franco, if your gelato is as good as you are handsome 😘, I know it is delicious. A 77 year old Calabrese, first generation American. I love gelato❣️
That's great, what part of Calabria is your family from?
@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC Reggio de Calabria. They were farmers and my father was in charge of the mule, making it go round and round to grind things. He used a carrot to make the mule go round. They grew grapes and made their own wine and olives for olive oil, some fruits also. My grandparents and great grandparents grew all their own food.
Awesome!😘😘
Thanks Rita!
Delicious!!
So good!
Really enjoyed watching that. How does he clean the inside of that machine inbetween each flavour change?
We're not really sure.
HACCP, he said! Food safety protocols
Yup! Super important!
@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC I learnt a new acronym!
Note to self: try the pistachio
It's one of my favorite flavors, and Gianfranco's version is superb!
