jay was definately picked up after the airbnb by lucy and a third party. After this lucy came up with the narative of lost and we need 30K GFM. Lucy has a moral duty to come clean to jay's parents, but we know she loves her jet set drug selling lifestyle and won't snitch on her gang leaders
Do you really think if Lucy gives them the money he will be released ? with everyone looking for the kid the people that have him might feel like they have to get rid of him. If Lucy set up the GFM and if she does indeed have this jet set lifestyle that she supposedly wants to maintain, the fact that she is meant to be from the UK and selling in Ibiza and the Canaries as part of organised crime, conspiracy to supply and trafficking charges might be laid on her, then wouldn't Interpol be involved by now and wouldn't her bosses sack her anyway given that her face is now too well known to the police. also if the GFM money is going on private investigators and flights to Tenerife for his family to go looking, would the mother not need to know she is blowing her sons chances of survival? I have got so many questions..
If it was a non-foul-play scenario, surely they would have found him now. For me that increases the foul-play scenario probability much higher than 10%, maybe by 1% per day he has been missing.
That's the only thing that makes me genuinely believe something else could've happened. All the speculation is just that, but the fact that jay has not been found in 3 weeks of searching one area is mad. The publicity the case is getting is also off, because so many people go missing every day and the police rarely broadcast details. But with this we have had these random details from the start, we've had different statements from different people, different appeals to the public for help and info. If there were absolutely no foul play it would be one and done, he'd be presumed dead and it'd be done. But this just keeps going
Love how the local police insisted it was a 'missing person' when all the time they would have known it was a possible murder inquiry related to the massive import/export drug industry. They don't want to admit that the place is an open sewer.

In that sort of terrain, temperatures can rise and dip quite quickly depending on where you are. Also, with Tenerife being a mountainous, rocky region, mostly every day there is looming cloud over the volcano and higher up in the island which sometimes doesn't disperse until midafternoon. Temperatures can fluctuate drastically from a mildly warm day to a much colder climate.
Well, there is no question that Jay was full of drugs and alcohol. That might be the reason why he don´t realized in what dangereous situation he was when arrived at Masca. Anyway, I am sure that the report of Jay´s drug associate tells us the truth, which states following: 1. Lucy is the top dog of a bunch of drug selling teenagers, travelling since 3 years from festival to festival around Europe to sell Coke. Earnings: 25000 each month. 2. Lucy recruited Jay for selling drugs. 3. Jay got his bag with drugs, but he lost it. 4. The 2 Masca guys are the bosses of Lucy, but they still have to ask their bosses how to handle the drug loss. 5. The 2 Masca guys was advised in Maroccan language to take him to Masca and if Lucy and her gang don´t pay 30000 to refund the drug loss, they have to kill Jay. 6. Lucy refused to pay and she and Brad actively support the murder case with false statements regarding calls and pings. 7. Lucy (not the social media!!) informed Jay´s mum that Jay was kidnapped on the first day of his dissapearence. Maybe true crime rocket science can argue that this scenarion is totally BS. Thank you.

There would have been 100's of places to rent and miles miles nearer. I see it as going to Perth in Scotland but staying in a hotel in Aviemore. Just so weird.

It seems like he probably didn’t go far , as there’s no witnesses of him getting on a bus or being anywhere else , nothing . So i agree / think he is possibly close by but in a different area to where they were intially searching maybe 🤔
At the moment, it appears that the only witness who has seen Mr Slater on the Monday morning is the lady who owns the rental, in her words she says that she tried to explain to him, the next bus would be at 10 o’clock, Maybe he didn’t understand and thought she meant in 10 hours time , she also says he started walking but in the opposite direction to where he wanted to go. It appears that no one else has come forward to say that they have seen him either so at the moment we just have her word for it.
Your quite happy to speculate on things such as drug taking and state of mind because it suits your narrative. But not in areas of criminal events. Keep the same energy across the board pal.

Jay didn't say Rolex in his snapchat!! He used the abbreviation AP, which is short for Audemars Piguet, a competitor of Rolex. The idea that in this context he was using slang for ecstasty was put to bed yesterday. For heaven's sake ... how many times does this need to be said???? If you can't even get basic facts right,; and don't bother doing your research before making videos, then I really see no point in waching your content.
So Jay fell out with his roommates and these men hanging around outside the club just offered him a place to stay in the mountains? They tucked him up in a blanket for the rest of the night and then Jay was up and about by 8am to get back to town by bus? So when told by the Air B&B owner the bus was due at 10am - why did he not either return to the B&B to wait or start walking downhill on the bus route where the bus would catch up with him later? Surely he knew that going uphill was the wrong direction?
Someone has said that they stabbed him outside the club & threw him in the car. That might be the reason for the wound to the leg, not a cactus. Perhaps he got away from the b&b as soon as they fell asleep. Lucy said that she told Jay to go back there & get water. He told her he was scared & couldn't go back there. Why not?
What if he was afraid of someone coming after him (hence he was "scared" to return to the B&B), and tried to DUPE them by taking what he thought was a shortcut to a bus stop HIGHER on the mountain/ UP that zig-zagging road? Most folks would ASSUME he would walk down the road TOWARDS Los Cristianos, but he would be more likely to "get caught" that way, IF someone was coming after him. But, if he walked up to an EARLIER bus stop, he might "get away"/ out-wit any pursuers. Explains both him LEAVING the road to go onto the trails, AND his going the other direction (assuming that he DID both of these things, assuming that the B&B owner was telling the Truth).
Something i can't understand at the moment is, where did the value of the Rolex come from? 12 000 pounds in value is what I'm seeing in various newspapers. Now, thinking back to the "lost bag" theory, 12k could maybe refer to the value of the drugs (rolex/ecstacy)?? This guy in air b and b did not go to tenerife for a suntan did he, staying in such a remote place is a big red flag. You have to drive to get to it so no drinking or drug taking if you have to drive out there on that dangerous mountain road especially in the dark. No one but the air b and b saw him. Where tge hell did he go for cigarettes at that time in the morning? No shop as far as i am aware. Too many lies to beable to come to a reasonable conclusion about what actually happened.
Exactly, there is no actual footage to show Jay at the Air B&B, the photo with him standing on the doorstep only shows someone standing with a cigarette and a blanket from the bedroom and his feet. It could just as easily been some other kid who had a short haircut and sunglasses on, and would the owner actually know one young guy from another, and walking up the wrong way might have been done so that other witnesses could see a kid too.

I would like to add , if the go fund me had been offered as a reward to the person that finds him things would be different especially if he was being held , as they could of pretended to find him at another part of the island and got the money he owed them. Either way if he is not being held a large money reward would encourage people to keep looking and the go fund me was meant to help find him not fund loads of people's holliday
In the early 90's the pills would blow your head off. A half was enough and definitely had mdma in them. Within a few years my mates were taking a hand full in one go 🫤 They were garbage, with little to no proper ingredients 😭

You're wrong about the rolex definition. It was stolen from what was described as 'a burly Eastern European'. There was a fight outside the club over it, so it's definitely a watch, not drugs.

The reference to "rolex" possibly may be right in a drug context. If it was a watch then the fact it wasn't reported stolen possibly means either the victim obtained it illegally themselves or it was perhaps fake. The guys he was with were obviously no angels given that one was the leader of a drugs gang and jailed for 9 years. Were they only there for the festival period to either sell or recruit runners for back in the UK and on the Island (or both). You can only hope he didn't intend to steal off THEM whilst they slept. It doesn't come across like he was frightened of them but when you're suddenly out of the comfort zone of your friends, accommodation etc. and on the "come down" he may have felt uncomfortable and regretted the decision to go with them. I think he will eventually be found having wandered off into the remote area but just like the Maddy McCann case speculation will abound till then.

Rolex isn't slang for ecstasy as a whole, rolex is likely referring to the type of ecstasy pill, as most ecstasy pills have a type of branding on them (ikea, punisher logo, mercedes... whatever) in order for the type of pill to be identified by the buyer and know through word of mouth if they're decent quality
Everyone is talking about how rolex is slang, however the message they've shown apparently from Jay says they stole an AP, a different type of expensive watch. So isn't all the talk of a rolex and how that's slang a red herring anyway?

Hi Nick, 1) I saw/ heard in another vid yesterday, that those 2 "Somali"/ British men had only even BOOKED that B&B 3 hours before Jay arrived there. If so, that also rather changes things, no? Could you please see if you can find out if this is the case, or if it is nonsense? And, if it IS true, then where did those guys stay for the FIRST TWO NIGHTS or so, before the "stolen Rolex" (which-ever kind of "Rolex" it was) incident, and when they were hanging around outside the rave? The more nonsense we can throw out the closer we can get to real facts. Thanks very much for your vids! I don't always agree with your conclusions, but I DO very much appreciate your research/ analyses work. 2) Also, what if Jay had seen how the road that the bus was to come on zig-zagged, and - if those two men WERE part of the drug operation/ part of the "hold Jay until the 30K pounds was raised" possible scenario, MAYBE Jay was trying to get to an earlier/ UP THE ROAD bus stop before the bus came. From the start the whole ‘lost in the mountains’ theory was weak at best. I still find it bizarre that you only went from 5% to 10% belied there was foul play. He left that b&b and went off road, that tells me a 2 hour wait at the b&b or in the area for a bus wasn’t an option for him when it was the logical decision. The fact that he stole a watch hours before he went missing, left the b&b with evidence to suggest he felt scared to the point he took 2 knives with him and you still have the likely hood of foul play at only 10% is bizarre
Rolex isn’t a slang word for ecstasy, sometimes the pills get pressed with a rolex logo on them and are dyed green, they cost pennies to make and no more than £5 on the street, so if he stole a green rolex pill, he stole pennies

Lolz . Ok you've obviously never done E . Most of the effects wear off relatively quickly. I know for a fact that you can be completely out of it , sky high at midnight and come 6 or 7 in the morning be mostly compos mentis with most of the euphoric effects having warn off. You are correct about the not being able to sleep part . I can promise you this though, after a night of doing E the very last thing you will want to do at 8am is go hiking in the wilderness in the heat . If he had popped more pills in the morning , he definitely wouldn't have gotten far in wild and going for a long hike/walk is just not something you feel compelled to do when you are high on E. It's also very rare to see someone who is high on E not having a filled water bottle close by and would know they need access to water. When you are high on E you practically become obsessed with drinking water and having access to it. I've also never heard E being referred to as "Rolex" before but that could be a new thing. My clubbing/raving days are long past 😂

Honestly, I've been reading some of the comments where people have created stories in their minds about Jay's pal's having something to do with his disappearance. Obviously it's possible, but way back in my early 20s it was par for the course of all night drinking to split up with mates and meet new friends and socialise. I would never have gone too far without my pals but I'm a woman and personal safety was hammered into me by my mother. However I'm going to throw my two pennorth in: I think he might've reached a point in the sesh where paranoia and the need to get home kicked in, he wanted to get back but off the road if paranoid, these Air BnB dudes were clearly bad news so soaking up dangerous moody vibes he got out of there...the rest, is an unknown. Thoughts with his family.
At this point I think we can reasonably predict that Jay was a young, adventure seeking man who got out over his skis. The relationship with Lucy appears to have been born out of a social media connection and likely related to the use and sale of drugs. His arrival in Tenerife was not accidental and clearly related to the rave not a walk about find myself pre college journey 😂. I accept that drugs are involved in his arrival there and his ultimate disappearance Nick. Once again, you distinguish yourself in the true crime community by cutting to the chase and telling it like it is. Law enforcement will likely uncover many other tentacles here as they investigate and with any luck at all, other young people might be saved but their rooting out of networks here.
Whatever happened to him, he was way out of his depth. A boy thinking he could play along with the grown ups. And now, his parents are enjoying a free holiday out of all this. A strange bunch altogether.
Love this channel, I just want to share my experience of "rolexes" back when I was a young raver in the early 2000s, we definitely would call ecstasy pills by different names, depending on what was printed on them.. for example..the ones called doves had doves on ..the mitsubishi ones had a mitsubishi logo, Superman ones had Superman logo on Ect.. we even had smurfs lol they were blue (of course). I remember the rolex ones, and if I remember right, they were speckled and trippy pills.. like brown speckles over the white pill. So yes, you are right, rolex is slang for a type of pill, ecstasy ones anyway! I can 100% confirm this was true between the years of 2003 and 2010 I don't know if the slang for pills has evolved, but I imagine there's still pills with logos on.. I hung my raving whistle up a very long time ago 😊😂❤
Is it possible that Jay decided to walk up the hill for a cigarette and towards the next Bus stop? He had plenty of time to wait before the next bus at 10am so instead of sitting still, walking would have taken him away from a potential harm - Assuming he was in trouble. Going uphill makes little sense. I'm sure authorities are combing camera footage to see vehicle plates coming and going from Masca. It's such a small winding road that someone must have seen something, not just the Airbnb owner.
Imagine importing all those drugs and now being free. Way too lenient of them. Also need to point out that not all people who go to raves, clubbing etc are doing or dealing drugs. Some genuinely get off on the music.
How do they know his mobile was smashed to bits. Why would the mother not hand over any clothing, for the dogs to get a scent. Why was that bnb not thoroughly searched, why was the rental car not examined, because even now they could get some dna from it.
The TV detective hasn't provided any of the evidence about the 'rolex' watch, and even if he did it could be fabricated by the 'friends' that want to direct attention away from what they've been up to, which is not really my focus but it is important to know if your trying to figure out where hes gone. I just want him to be found so (good ) peoples time will stop being wasted on this case.
We all know that he was a small time drug dealer in the UK. He has tried to step up his game and thought he could take the easy road and steal the product. The big boys have found out and have put him 7 feet under as a message to others who think they could do the same.

All the speculation is just that, but the fact that jay has not been found in 3 weeks of searching one area is mad. The publicity the case is getting is also off, because so many people go missing every day and the police rarely broadcast details. But with this we have had these random details from the start, we've had different statements from different people, different appeals to the public for help and info.
If there were absolutely no foul play it would be one and done, he'd be presumed dead and it'd be done. But this just keeps going

Also, with Tenerife being a mountainous, rocky region, mostly every day there is looming cloud over the volcano and higher up in the island which sometimes doesn't disperse until midafternoon. Temperatures can fluctuate drastically from a mildly warm day to a much colder climate.

3. Jay got his bag with drugs, but he lost it.
4. The 2 Masca guys are the bosses of Lucy, but they still have to ask their bosses how to handle the drug loss.
5. The 2 Masca guys was advised in Maroccan language to take him to Masca and if Lucy and her gang don´t pay 30000 to refund the drug loss, they have to kill Jay.
6. Lucy refused to pay and she and Brad actively support the murder case with false statements regarding calls and pings.
7. Lucy (not the social media!!) informed Jay´s mum that Jay was kidnapped on the first day of his dissapearence.

Most folks would ASSUME he would walk down the road TOWARDS Los Cristianos, but he would be more likely to "get caught" that way, IF someone was coming after him.
But, if he walked up to an EARLIER bus stop, he might "get away"/ out-wit any pursuers. Explains both him LEAVING the road to go onto the trails, AND his going the other direction (assuming that he DID both of these things, assuming that the B&B owner was telling the Truth).

This guy in air b and b did not go to tenerife for a suntan did he, staying in such a remote place is a big red flag. You have to drive to get to it so no drinking or drug taking if you have to drive out there on that dangerous mountain road especially in the dark. No one but the air b and b saw him. Where tge hell did he go for cigarettes at that time in the morning? No shop as far as i am aware. Too many lies to beable to come to a reasonable conclusion about what actually happened.

Exactly, there is no actual footage to show Jay at the Air B&B, the photo with him standing on the doorstep only shows someone standing with a cigarette and a blanket from the bedroom and his feet. It could just as easily been some other kid who had a short haircut and sunglasses on, and would the owner actually know one young guy from another, and walking up the wrong way might have been done so that other witnesses could see a kid too.

The reference to "rolex" possibly may be right in a drug context. If it was a watch then the fact it wasn't reported stolen possibly means either the victim obtained it illegally themselves or it was perhaps fake. The guys he was with were obviously no angels given that one was the leader of a drugs gang and jailed for 9 years. Were they only there for the festival period to either sell or recruit runners for back in the UK and on the Island (or both). You can only hope he didn't intend to steal off THEM whilst they slept. It doesn't come across like he was frightened of them but when you're suddenly out of the comfort zone of your friends, accommodation etc. and on the "come down" he may have felt uncomfortable and regretted the decision to go with them. I think he will eventually be found having wandered off into the remote area but just like the Maddy McCann case speculation will abound till then.

Rolex isn't slang for ecstasy as a whole, rolex is likely referring to the type of ecstasy pill, as most ecstasy pills have a type of branding on them (ikea, punisher logo, mercedes... whatever) in order for the type of pill to be identified by the buyer and know through word of mouth if they're decent quality

Any folks coming after him would ASSUME that he would walk down the road towards Los Cristianos, and if he was afraid for his safety, he might have tried to dupe anyone coming after him, by going further north to catch the bus at an EARLIER stop, and then not be so easily seen/ caught-up with.

He left that b&b and went off road, that tells me a 2 hour wait at the b&b or in the area for a bus wasn’t an option for him when it was the logical decision. The fact that he stole a watch hours before he went missing, left the b&b with evidence to suggest he felt scared to the point he took 2 knives with him and you still have the likely hood of foul play at only 10% is bizarre

Lolz . Ok you've obviously never done E . Most of the effects wear off relatively quickly. I know for a fact that you can be completely out of it , sky high at midnight and come 6 or 7 in the morning be mostly compos mentis with most of the euphoric effects having warn off. You are correct about the not being able to sleep part . I can promise you this though, after a night of doing E the very last thing you will want to do at 8am is go hiking in the wilderness in the heat . If he had popped more pills in the morning , he definitely wouldn't have gotten far in wild and going for a long hike/walk is just not something you feel compelled to do when you are high on E. It's also very rare to see someone who is high on E not having a filled water bottle close by and would know they need access to water. When you are high on E you practically become obsessed with drinking water and having access to it.

Honestly, I've been reading some of the comments where people have created stories in their minds about Jay's pal's having something to do with his disappearance. Obviously it's possible, but way back in my early 20s it was par for the course of all night drinking to split up with mates and meet new friends and socialise. I would never have gone too far without my pals but I'm a woman and personal safety was hammered into me by my mother. However I'm going to throw my two pennorth in: I think he might've reached a point in the sesh where paranoia and the need to get home kicked in, he wanted to get back but off the road if paranoid, these Air BnB dudes were clearly bad news so soaking up dangerous moody vibes he got out of there...the rest, is an unknown.

At this point I think we can reasonably predict that Jay was a young, adventure seeking man who got out over his skis. The relationship with Lucy appears to have been born out of a social media connection and likely related to the use and sale of drugs. His arrival in Tenerife was not accidental and clearly related to the rave not a walk about find myself pre college journey 😂. I accept that drugs are involved in his arrival there and his ultimate disappearance Nick. Once again, you distinguish yourself in the true crime community by cutting to the chase and telling it like it is. Law enforcement will likely uncover many other tentacles here as they investigate and with any luck at all, other young people might be saved but their rooting out of networks here.
I agree, everywhere has an underbelly. I think an accident but if his friends and associates are lying it could mean something else.

Love this channel, I just want to share my experience of "rolexes" back when I was a young raver in the early 2000s, we definitely would call ecstasy pills by different names, depending on what was printed on them.. for example..the ones called doves had doves on ..the mitsubishi ones had a mitsubishi logo, Superman ones had Superman logo on Ect.. we even had smurfs lol they were blue (of course). I remember the rolex ones, and if I remember right, they were speckled and trippy pills.. like brown speckles over the white pill.
So yes, you are right, rolex is slang for a type of pill, ecstasy ones anyway! I can 100% confirm this was true between the years of 2003 and 2010
I don't know if the slang for pills has evolved, but I imagine there's still pills with logos on.. I hung my raving whistle up a very long time ago 😊😂❤

Is it possible that Jay decided to walk up the hill for a cigarette and towards the next Bus stop? He had plenty of time to wait before the next bus at 10am so instead of sitting still, walking would have taken him away from a potential harm - Assuming he was in trouble. Going uphill makes little sense. I'm sure authorities are combing camera footage to see vehicle plates coming and going from Masca. It's such a small winding road that someone must have seen something, not just the Airbnb owner.

The TV detective hasn't provided any of the evidence about the 'rolex' watch, and even if he did it could be fabricated by the 'friends' that want to direct attention away from what they've been up to, which is not really my focus but it is important to know if your trying to figure out where hes gone. I just want him to be found so (good ) peoples time will stop being wasted on this case.
We all know that he was a small time drug dealer in the UK. He has tried to step up his game and thought he could take the easy road and steal the product. The big boys have found out and have put him 7 feet under as a message to others who think they could do the same.
