As a Retired Military member the Military only have to follow LAWFUL & MORAL Orders. Another reason the Military wouldn't attack it's own Citizens is be our family and friends live in the Country

    • @Seawolf4127
      @Seawolf4127 16 часов назад +1

Technically members of the military are supposed to follow all lawful orders which may or may not have moral ambiguity (deployment of nuclear weapons for example). What constitutes a "lawful" order in wartime is actually more dynamic than many people realize.
Even many military manuals acknowledge that it is often difficult to distinguish lawful orders from unlawful ones during wartime since soldiers following direction of their officers often don't have the necessary information to make such a distinction. The idea of "military necessity" is one concept in the Laws of War where there can be ambiguity that can be used as an excuse to commit what would usually be a war crime.
Gray areas such as this during combat is the main reason that it is not outrageous to believe the US military can be used against its citizens, at least for a little bit. I would imagine that military leadership would eventually develop a more accurate conflict picture that would make them stop. Afterall, they swear an oath to defend the Constitution before following any orders from Congress (contrary to enlisted which swear to obey lawful orders from their superiors exclusively).

Yes, it was supported by military (both foreign and domestic) but without the guns, the revolution would never have started. Similarly the Vietnamese beat you and and the French with an army of armed citizens. Similarly in Cuba. The Mujahedeen in Afghanistan defeated the Soviets etc etc. Also, if it came down to it, do you really believe the average US military serviceman would side with the govt against their own people? As we regularly see in coups all around the world, the military often switch allegiance quite quickly. Look at Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan recently.

As mentioned in other comments, they are brother, sisters, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, and cousins. Not to mention the bond between vets and the military. AND, EVERY PERSON SERVING IN OUR MILITARY HAS THE RIGHT AND RESPONSIBLY TO DISOBEY ANY ORDER THEY ARE GIVEN FROM HIGHER UP THE CHAIN OF COMMAND IF THAT ORDER IS UNLAWFUL OR VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION. And every person who is serving or has served has sworn to protect and support the constitution. Being discharged does not end that vow. Only death releases us from that promise.

The citizens of America should be able to possess the exact same arms as the military and the police and to argue otherwise is to argue in favor of the government holding a monopoly on power over the people which is absolutely antithetical to the design of the founders and to our constitution. The second amendment was put into the bill of rights to ensure citizens the means to overthrow a tyrannical government, not to deer hunt, which logically implies that the government should never be better armed than the people. To the people that think only the government should have “assault type weapons,” the police and military were never meant to be armed more heavily or efficiently than the citizens. This would defeat the whole purpose of the clause.

🟡. So here in Michigan i am charged with MCL 750.227 in which i will be imprisoned for a 5 year felony by exercising a God Given Inalienable right to the Second Amendment concealed or open carry within the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution.
It Shall Not Be Infringed upon allowed from the government by permission as a privilege by the issuance of a license or a permit.
This action is converting the exercise of a God Given Inalienable right into committing a crime by the enforcement of an unconstitutional enacted racist Jim Crow law in Michigan in 1927 expanded in 1931 after the Dr Ossian Sweet incident in 1925 Detroit, Michigan.
With writing of State of Michigan Constitution in 1957 and ratification in 1963 contained the following language in Article I, Clause 6 " Every person has a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of himself and the state. " complied with the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Neither the Second Amendment nor Article I, Clause 6 contain any prohibitions to the manner in which to exercise the God Given Inalienable right to keep and bear arms either concealed or open carry.
Furthermore Article VI, Clause 2 prevents any laws enacted that are contrary and repugnant to the United States Constitution are null and void of enforcement as law.
As far as states rights are concerned within the Tenth Amendment a state may grant more rights and privileges to we the people that the United States Constitution does not provide for but they may not restrict or ever take away any rights as provided for by the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, or the United States Constitution.
What country is Michigan or any other state located in ?
Is Michigan or any other state located in America ?
We The People have the God Given Inalienable rights to the Second Amendment concealed or open carry within the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution.
It is the preemption law of the land by the Supremacy Clause, Article 6 Clause 2 is very clear that no law can be contrary to the United States Constitution.
It Shall Not Be Infringed upon allowed from any level of government by permission as a privilege granted by an issued license or an issued permit.
As far as states rights are concerned within the Tenth Amendment allows for the states may grant more rights and more privileges to we the people than the United States Constitution or federal law does not provide for but they may not restrict or ever take away any rights as provided for by the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, or the United States Constitution.
The claim of " in the interest of public safety or an officer's safety " does not negate the exercising of the Second Amendment by feeling or emotions.
Does a person ask the government for permission each time that they exercise God Given Inalienable rights as a privilege by a license or a permit ?
What about saying a prayer or going to assemble at a church or the press printing a newspaper or an article ?
So why does that apply the Second Amendment preemption ? 🤔
