She reminds of how my Granny cooked deer. Granny taught my brother and I how to cook, along with Mom and Dad. But Granny's meals sure tasted a lot better than any! I tell this to my friends, and their responses are all the same. Granny added love to her recipes. That's why her cooking was tops. I'll not argue that point.
I do this very similar but I like to cut thicker, pound out with toothed side of a mallet, cut to serving size pieces... always tender with any cut of venison except the shanks and sirloin tip roasts... Thank You for sharing!!! God Bless
Mam. That's really nice how u cooked that. I'm so hungry now after watching that. A friend of mine when he would cook deer shoulder or hind leg mostly shoulders he'd use honey to smoke it an mustard I believe to rub it down along with other seasonings an it was so good. But this recipe u do is just really simple but simple is always best. So thank yall for sharing
Very nicely presented Hannah.. Being a Pro Photographe r your cooking area is still a studio.May I suggest a mini white reflector placed on the camera or light stand to cancel out the shadows.. You are a very good cook and only a part of your presentation to the public ..I will try your recipe.. might alter the roux slightly..TU
Ok first time i got Venison on my hands i was feeling awful , lol i felt like i was cooking Rudolph the red nose Reindeer or Bambi 🙈🥺 Than i had to shake it off and cook the meat and i got scared I won’t cook it good but that too i got over it and ended up cooking it good 😁🤦🏼♀️
I just fell in love in under 10 minutes! Why God, Why are all the good ones taken? Unfortunately I can't bare to subscribe it would only torture my crushed heart.
Nicde video. I stumbled across this video, but have watched your meatloaf and backstrap video on Cook with Cabelas. If you get a chance stop by my channel and let me know what you think about my South Texas version of this dish. Put in a request for your cookbook for Christmas so hopefully the wife and kids got the not so suttle hint.
Sorry to be the party pooper....but that is VENISON BACKSTRAP - one of the most desirable, succulent, heavenly cuts of meat on planet Earth. Yet she's treating it like $1.99/lb beef shank. She's starting with barely 1/4" cuts, then dredging numerous times in everything in the kitchen that will mask it's natural incredible flavor! "first in the breadcrumbs, then in the eggs and milk, then again in some flour, then back in the milk, once more in some cornmeal, back in some yogurt, another spin through some panco breadcrumbs, then through the sesame seeds, and finally a swipe through crushed Ritz crackers and a chocalate milk shake... YUM, we love the taste of deer meat!" Tragic use of the finest cut of meat known to man.
The food and the COOK BOTH look REAL GOOD 👍

Excellent meal cooked by a beautiful gal lol that’s one lucky dude
LUCKY HUSBAND !
God that fork screeching in the pan drives me up the wall. But it looks like good gravy.
I like the receipt. But the scratching sound of the folk when cooking the gravy is too sharp for my ears.
