    The Only Solution is To Create More States.
    Mumbai cannot hear the cries of Vidarbha people.
    More States More Accountability.
    Smaller states are undoubtedly better administered.

      +PushapJeet Koushik the hypothesis that smaller States are better administered is debatable.

      Baibhav Patel No But In principle it goes very well with the economic parameters.
      I mean the newer states do way better than their respective Parent states,If Not doing wonders.
      Post-Division the Political Accountability and Administrative convenience is more if we juxtapose Chhatisgarh with MP, Uttarakhand with UP or Jharkhand with Bihar.
      Yeah ! the Quantum of success may be debatable in whatsoever way.

      +PushapJeet Koushik In the present situation creating more states adds economic burden to the country. Encourages regionalism and violence.

    We Indians are used to last resorts. Unless something drastic happens people in India will never take water seriously and when people are not serious what can we say about netas.

      +Pra123 Agr123 don't think I am speaking like a communist..... But underlying there are many facts as reason for this worst water crisis

    • @prateekagrawal389
      @prateekagrawal389 8 лет назад

      Anil Kumar I know there are a lot of reasons for this....but i belong to a relatively well off family & i have seen in my society little poor children carrying heavy buckets of water on their bicycles while maids in our homes are flooding our lawns with water!!
      Thing is unless people become aware, nothing can happen...
      Indians in general have a habit of ignorance until they themselves get affected by a crisis....this attitude of hypocrisy has to go..

    What are our policy experts in institutions like NITI Aayog doing? Our Water Policy and subsequent water use must be regulated and behaviour of people related to water use should be changed using nudges and incentives and all the other tools behavioural economics has to offer.
    Misplaced water use priorities, faulty agricultural pricing policies and a certain myopia regarding the bigger picture is holding the country back! Our INDC which we submitted to the UNFCCC harped about our country's legacy of respecting our nature and inherent sustainable use embedded in our attitude to the environment..nothing but just rhetoric!
