First off, I love my LUDT Gen3 but I have to take a little at the 100% American made as you brought it up. The M390(MK) is made in Kapfenberg, Austria at the Böhler factory. So, there's that... 👍🤠 Also I am in agreement that the "Black Tactical Color" isn't DLC, it would have "DLC" in the part number for the knife if it has DLC somewhere. That is PVD/Cerakote etc, I have heard both, but haven't been able to verify 100% from MT. That is the "T" in the part number for Tactical which is the two tone black coating/satin flats blades and black hardware.
Guess whats joining my 3 year old orange LUDT, a nice new Merlot red gen III droppoint from eKnives! So pumped, plus I got a Maxace Neptune in yesterday to go w friends 0770CF he donated! its a crazy automated/assissted month, n not by design either😂
Got a FDE Drop Point Gen 3 LUDT a few weeks ago from Eknives, I love it! Had a gen 2 as well i got from them over a year ago i loved that one a lot too. The LUDT in general has become my most carried and has yet to disappoint. I also don't personally mind the billboard but it definitely doesn't pop as much on my FDE as it does on my all black one.
I never liked the spring type placement in modern autos. Still feel leaf springs are so much better. Would love to see a maker of Italian autos with modern materials and craftsmanship.

If you have a burning desire to put 3M Grip tape on gun grips CZ custom black aluminums have an insert with that. Or if you don't care the slightest about aesthetics you can be one of those perverts that use Talon grip tape.

Would also like to see machining on the button. In a side opening auto you have to sacrifice grip to open the knife.

@@jeffreygettinger2134 that’s the beauty, it only LOOKS like grip tape. Its not. It’s a plastic-rubbery material. Not gritty or rough at all.
