Very elaborative captures, nice work, keep it up, I was searching some of other vloggers work before I post mine and yours stood out for me. Thank you for a concise yet comprehensive work! keep it up!
What a gorgeous place! I'm planning a trip to Taiwan once they open up the borders for tourism and wasn't sure if I should make the journey to Sun Moon Lake. Now that I've seen your video I simply have to go!
Thank you. Yes, you are allowed to fly a drone there in certain areas. Areas around the harbors and crowds are not allowed. You can download the Taiwan Civil Aeronautics Administration's APP that will show you an interactive map of where exactly you can fly in Taiwan.
Thank you 😃 I filmed it last year January. It was a little bit cold in the morning, but the sun comes up a bit later in the winter and it's not so busy with tourists.
I think it was between 6 and 7 am. I remember getting up before sunrise in January and I got my drone ready while it was still dark. It was about an hour of filming during sunrise.
Hi! I am planning a Tw trip with the family, including my father in law who moves around in a wheelchair (folding electric or manual). Is SML doable with him? Woukd you recommend some accessible spots in TW for the trip? Thank you!
Hi there Yes, SML would be a great place for your family to visit. Many of the views and places are wheelchair friendly, especially because of the bicycle routes. However, the old temples are only accessible by stairs. Still, there's more than enough views that are wheelchair friendly and you can also do a boat trip across the lake as a fun activity. Another activity there that's not in my bideo is the gondola ride up the mountain to the aboriginal park. For the rest of Taiwan, you will find Taipei city and all the other major cities to be very wheelchair friendly. The High Speed Rail train is also great. Taiwan has wheelchair friendly busses and taxis too. If you want to see more nature, I would also recommend you rent a car or van and travel down the east coast. Hualien has Toroco that's really worth seeing I'm not too clued up with all the wheelchair friendly places, but I often see a lot of older people traveling Taiwan and there's always wheelchair fiendly bathrooms at all the tourist hotspots and fuel stations, and usually very clean. I'm sure you guys will have a great time. It might just take a little bit more planning. Let me know if there's anything I can help out with
@@discovertaiwanwithjohan thanks mate, much appreciated :) we will definitely do Taipei. I am bummed out we won't be able to do both shufen and djifen though 😁
Yes, you are right! Thanks for mentioning it. That is also one of my favorite activities there! I love that new Spanish style water theme park and the roller-coaster where your feet hangs freely. Maybe worth a video on its own, or a video about the theme parks of Taiwan.
如果你知道任何很棒的地方並且值得造訪的話,請在底下留言讓我知道: 😎

Thanks 林文良. Yes, It seems like the lake is very full now. So beautiful
Well done Johan. All your hard work has paid off. It looks amazing 🙌🙌
Thanks Mark. I appreciate it! You should visit Taiwan as soon as the borders open again. I have a lot of cool places to show you.
Sounds good I would love to visit
Waw amazing
Thanks Ayahe 😊

Nice video. One suggestion: Your girlfriend is easy to look at, but you really should let her talk some more.
Thank you . Yes, I totally agree. PS: Actually, my wife 🤣
