In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity

Enquirin' for the rogue, they said my Connaught brogue
Wasn't much in vogue upon the rocky road to Dublin
From there I got away, my spirits never failin'
Landed on the quay just as the ship was sailin'
The captain at me roared, said that no room had he
When I jumped aboard, a cabin found for Paddy
Down among the pigs, I danced some funny jigs
Played some hearty rigs, the water round me bubblin'
When off Holyhead wished myself was dead
Or better far instead, upon the rocky road to Dublin
The boys of Liverpool, when we safely landed
Called meself a fool, I could no longer stand it
Blood began to boil, temper I was losin'
Poor old Erin's Isle they began abusin'
Hurrah me soul says I, me shillelagh I let fly
Some Galway boys were by, and saw I was a hobblin'
Then with a loud hurray, joining the affray
Quickly cleared the way for the rocky road to Dublin
I don't mind if they are german or irish or from moon or what ever.
They make pure music, pure fun, pure happyness, pure feeling of life.
That is an incredible crowd! Everyone's so happy!
Im English and I love these guys. Forget history man and ignore people that put up stupid comments but there are sooo many good English bands/ acts out there rockin it though man, not sure why u haven't come accross any as the list is endless. Love these guys though, some good bands come out of Germany!! Peace
Wall of Folk!! Fiddlers sind einfach der Wahnsinn!
they are telling the crowd to form a "Wall of folk" its mainly the same as the "Wall of death" or how its originally called: "Braveheart"
Later, when Pat is standing on that box in the middle of the crowd, Pat tells the crowd to form a "Circle Pat" (not circle Pit because many Heavy Metal bands banned the Circle Pit from their shows.) Close to the end of that song Pat tells the crowd to run faster!

@TheSbanham I'm Irish as well, and they're a German band havin a bit of craic playing Irish music. They're not trying to be anything but who they are.
incredible celtic style punk and irish folk and folk punk comin out of Germany,serbia,and of course USA,England,canada and Australia for years-sad thing is I couldn't name more than 3 decent celtic punk bands from me own place here in Ireland.Anyway great band like Mr irish Bastard,Kilkenny Knights atc great stuff comin outa Germany.

The name of the head of the band - the guy, who's standing on the box - is patrick. So Fiddlers Green called the "circle pit" "circle pat", because the people are running around him.
They are either German or Irish, but they are perfect. From Russia with love. Long life and best greetings. Slante!
thats one of the coolest circle pits ever.. it's not a REAL and HARD circlepit but I love such a circle pit! :P

and also the celtic Heritage start in western russia and worked to ireland which is where most ppl associate it with
the Irish are not Celts, there is no evidence of the Celts in Ireland, not even a sword of helmet
The language itself is evidence. There is overwhelming evidence for celts settling in Ireland prior to the Roman occupation. If anything Ireland is the most Celtic nation of all.

@TheSbanham actually this is a german band and now show me an irish band that is making good german music... :P listen to their own songs they make good music with an irish feeling because germany has a great music scene with experimental band like these.
@MWASypa seriously show me an english/irish band going crazy in germany... i mean; i (as a german) love it with heart... history is always hard on those who lose (i know as a german) but it never forgets pride of the people....! ! ! (im not a nazi! ! !)

mooch cassidy it's a very interesting take on a great song! tbh considering he ain't Irish he sings it bloody well. only well established good Irish singers generally attempt this tune live !!!

Ich finds halt krass wie die die Geschwindigkeit/Härte des Songs dem Publikum anpassen :D Aufm Rockharz wirds wieder gut knalle :D

ich find fiddlers echt geil, aber der kerl kann und wird nie singen können^^
hm.schade.von dem dropkick murphys ist das lied wesentlich geiler.die version find ich eher lahm.
die ist auch einfach schlecht, aber ich weiß auch nicht ob man das Lied als deutscher überhaupt gescheit hinbekommen kann^^ allerdings finde ich auch die Version der dropkick murphys relativ schlecht im Gegensatz zu der der dubliners oder der high kings

dropkick murphys? Ja okay, wenn man auf sinnloses Instrumentengeschredder steht, dann kann man das hören. Ansonsten ist es nur Pseudopunk ohne jegwede Melodie...
acvh du je,nicht so freundlich. ich hab dir nichts getan also chill mal. ist halt meine persönliche Meinung dazu. ich finds einfach besser. ich finde die band trotzdem geil aber die version von den murphys gefällt mir einfach besser.
