This is amazing! Thank you. I am heading a project to migrate all database to sharepoint and your video really helped me think this through. I am very excited about it. Great job!
@16:26 - unless IT set this up before hand, no user is going to do this. 99% of users work on the desktop, using Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint and LOB App.
Thank you. Great video. I appreciate you posting this - it encourages me to want to work with your organization for our SharePoint migration and other IT needs.
Great video. Learned a couple new features like metadata and flows. How about if the machines are re-imaged. Is there a way to automatically re-sync the teams/sharepoint sites based on the user login?
Storage is the biggest let-down. Amazing how a standard tenant gives a company no more storage than you'd get from a cheap computer off the shelf from Best Buy.
When migrating the file share to Sharepoint, how do we manage permission, in Windows file share we can control NTFS permission, can we have similar setup in share point
Hi Mohamed - you will want to set up your SharePoint permission structure ahead of time. That way the permissions are based on the team, folder, etc. Not on the individual files. Please reach out if you would like to dig in deeper! www.mytech.com/contact
If you left click the One Drive icon in your system tray, then select "Help & Settings", then go to "Manage Storage". That's where you can select what is being sent to the cloud.

He gets to the real "first of all" at about the 4m30s mark of the video. FYI for anyone wanting to save some time.

@9:29 - why not use Azure Files ????
thanks for great video,In share point what challenges for CAD AND DESIGN users?
My intention to migrate to SharePoint was to have an online server for my design office. We work with CAD. I’m now doubting the change.

Hi in a scenario where files are moved to Sharepoint. Are users accessing files in teams document library for SP or strictly in SP?
Not sure what you are asking here? If the document library is within a teams "team" yes, the files will be shown in the files tab on the teams
They are accessing the files in strictly SP, unless the original file was shared on teams, it will not be in the library.
Thanks for this video! Great job.
Can you mirror a local drive on SharePoint so that files update in both locations?

Perhaps thru a virtual machine and sync all the folders and backup. Did you find a better way?
