Thanks brother!!
Nice video!
Thanks!
Love what you do Will! Wouldn’t mind picking your brain. God Bless
Thanks brother!! I’ll be doing coaching calls again in the fall time frame possibly.
Awesome video! I look forward to your videos every week because I always know that I am going to take something productive from each one. Quick question. Do you have a Lawn Care Business Manual or Documents packet that you sell? I see those documents on your white board, or standard operating procedures, yellow slips, etc. I’d be willing to pay for it rather than trying to reinvent the wheel and type up my own for my business.
I do not sell a business manual at this time. I’m looking at putting a training course together that may incorporate this.
what is your color coding system for the sprayers and chemicals. Curious about that. A lot of good ideas in this video.....great stuff
We spray paint the blue jugs for broadleaf weeds. Yellow for king ranch blue stem, black for dallisgrass
I have an idea💡 . Turn the parking plastic things upside down and pour concrete inside, so when it dries it will be solid. I do pressure washing and I always get asked if I know anything that cuts grass and does painting. I think I am ready to add grass cutting to my services after watching your videos. Thanks
I like it! Thanks for your input!
Will great video!
Are you using a 21" mower for all your lawns?
Is using a 30" not practical for you?
yes we use 21 inch push mowers only. They are just lighter.
A shipping container would be great, but they can be expensive. I would recommend maybe a small home depot garden shed for your fert storage. They can be fairly affordable or you could build your own even cheaper. 🤙
Great recommendation, thank you!!
The cheapest way to go is carport if you go to your local supplier and just order tube stock, trusses , and metal you can get away with somewhere around $1800 mine was close to $2000 because I used color matched screws and I closed in the back but you could tarp the back if you want to save money. You can also pick them up pretty cheap on marketplace you might just have to replace a base rail usually they are rusted out. Took me 8 hours to put up with 2 other people
Thanks for this input! How does it do in the wind?
@@TheWillKelly it has zero issues the base rails have holes for 3ft rebar stakes and you could add more if you were really worried about it I’ve never had issues. My only issue is I wish I would have put mine in a different spot. You could even put down a crush and run floor if you are feeling fancy.
where can I buy the ducktail
We have a welder we use in Pilot Point TX that custom builds it.
Hey Will, I do not have a Ute as well,Who is the best person to contact to buy/ made this custom UTE. I believe mechanic won’t do it.. So who is it?
A welder
Do you have the website for cargo ramp ?
www.powerspreaders.com/spreader-carriers
Shipping container would likely be the best option.
Great recommendation! Thank you!
That's smart
Another very affordable option in addition to shipping containers are storage boxes from decommissioned box trucks. They can be found for dirt cheap on FB marketplace. The also have garage doors and are more visually appealing than a shipping container. I bought a 8x20 with an 8ft ceiling for $500, and another $400 for it to get delivered..
Great content on the channel for us lawn and landscaping pros. Your content is no nonsense and to the point.
@@TheWillKellyis there a way that someone can reach out to you for a 1:1 coaching session?
@@bamirza Not at this time, I may open up more 1:1 free coaching sessions this fall and winter time again once the season slows down and I have more time.
Shipping container, with a side cut and flipped up.
When you get delivery’s can the put the pallets in the container from the side or did you need a ramp?
Drive up to side and push with extra pallet that has been reinforced.
In the rotations for weed eating doesn’t the weed eater throw the grass CCW?
Yes it does. If it’s a new flowerbed we will do it the opposite way but we do it this way for speed purposes.
@@TheWillKelly got it! So what about if the grass is on the taller end?
@@EstrellaLawns We weed eat first then mow. same rotation.
@@TheWillKelly makes sense, this is new info! I’ve heard people say go ccw to avoid the weed whacker throwing a lot of clippings onto the flower beds/siding.
@@EstrellaLawns Yeah going CCW is an awkward carry and strains the back out more. All of our accounts are weekly during the summer so to be honest we aren't weed eating much since we are there every week. It does make more sense to go CCW on first time cuts or longer grass cuts.
Carport would be best
I'm leaning between a small car port and shipping container. We just need something more sturdy.
What if your truck is down?
We take it to our local mechanic to get fixed. If we retire a truck we can always pull the dovetail ramp off and install it on a new truck.
There’s multiple trucks.
2man team one truck while the other is being repaired.
@@tennesseesawmillguy1590 yes!
Why do you not have any zero turns? Not hating, just asking
All our properties are under 8k turf sqft and a lot of the are only 3k sqft. I feel like we would be doing more turning with them than mowing
@@TheWillKelly yep, your right. We’re in north Ga. Here we are lucky to get a yard less than an acre. Most are 1.5 plus.
@@nathanstanley4891 Oh wow, yeah then definitely use that zero turn!
