This is the book of my life :') my favourite novel of all time from my favourite author of all time. I read it when I was like 14 years old, I was living in San Francisco and I found a copy of the book in a garage sale, very cheap. My life and world changed completely, because although I'm not african-american, it touches universal themes of identity, searching, past, anger, flight, depression, I mean... And the poetry in the prose is like anything I've ever read. Loved this review! ^^ thanks for talking about this kind of books!
