i know this is a half year ago video, but as a try hard azap main, my advice on using azap is to go bottom line, charge in, press 3 and wait around 4 second, press 2 to block, then press 3 again. most player got bait by charge in and use counter attack instead of his slash skill. Only use counter attack when.. 1. enemy charge at u (use it for 2 second to block the first charge then press 3) 2. when your 3rd skill on cd and u still stuck in enemy stack
Janissaries are my go to missile unit. With good doctrines they have over 3000 penetration and 3000 damage. They are long range snipers that increase accuracy with time so they are specialty units.
5:56 ooooh yeah...that cav charge was kino. that's how we need to be coordinating cav charges in pub matches, y'all.
Even when I watch it live on stream I always take a look at YT version. Great content for us CB players. Lot of respect, mate!
Interesting unit selection. I would have definitely used the janissaries, particularly on defense. When you can set up janissaries and your team brings some shields and pikes to protect them, they do ungodly damage. I've had games where my janies have gotten 8 hero kills and over 90 unit kills by themselves.
Several seasons ago, I ran Sipahis (or as we call them "bouncy pony bois") on attack where the defenders usually set up in the corner with shields pikes fronting a bunch of ranged so they can't be trebbed...except in this match, they were missing the pikes. I got my bouncy pony bois around the corner and charged them in and stomped everything in the corner into the dust. It's probably one of the best cav plays I've ever made. I think I got around 60 unit kills on that one charge and stomp.
I'd really recommend re-doing this season using the janissaries instead of the azaps.
Silahdard are my favorite unit people underestimate their damage really often
Silahdars damage are good but he is right it is kidna not a golden unit. They should be more tanky. Bit faster and should have a rework on 2 skill
@@zachary3111 second skill is only for breaking shields they basicly break the whole block of enemy imperial shields then you follow up with 1 basicly wiping half of the unit (1 on 1 fight) in a clump it is useless yes for the tankiness part i would say they hold up pretty well against slashing damage not that much against piercing, i usually push them with some shields. (in this shield meta they break imperial shields pretty well in my opinion they just need some support)
@@clearmind9455 yes but it says in description that it sends units flying it dosen't. So description is poor or skill not working properly. But even know they have troubles breaking through imperial shields because of their mastery line they got

At around 4:32 and 13:28 in the video with the Azap vs Onna Musha you pressed '2' once when you needed to press it twice, this change allows for more control and is makes them worst when you let them free roam since you now shove them in and double tap '2'. If Im being honest here Onna Musha are OP I dont care what anyone says about them being glass cannons they are completely oppressive to a level that most other infantry cant even hold a candle to them. My favourite season will always be Blood of the Empire but its sad to see Sipahi keep getting the short end of the stick as the dev keeps buffing units and buffing units against cavalry to the point they literally do nothing.
Omna musha can be easily killed. Lots of units kill theme and even if you can play with your hero and CC theme they Re free kills.
@@vojteskaaaaaa6 this is what I mean people are coping that Onna Musha can be easily killed like its something any unit can do when in actual fact the hero is doing 90% of the cc and damage. Honestly if you tried to fight Onna musha with other units you would fail to win with 90% of the infantry and the ones that do win are either brace monsters with stun on brace or take so little damage they out damage the Onna musha.
@@Azzakye i dont know how you play , but its about out play your oponent then just blindly send your units. I dont have probleme with theme in sieges. And I dont kill theme with my hero, but with my units. If I can I will use my hero why not to savé more models. They Re totaly not op they do demage as they should, if you také their damage their will be garbage. So I think its only about you re rage you get killed by theme ,but they Re total easy to kill. We will not agree on this. For me I dont see theme as a problematic unit. Most players play theme cuz its japanese season so its cheaper by 50% and 10 leadership and its just active season. Every active season you will see mostly that units cuz of bonus of that and excitenemt from new units to try theme.
@@vojteskaaaaaa6 You are making an assumption on what I would change about the Onna Musha and you are making an assumption that I rage because Im getting killed by them. If you are going to just hand wave my opinion away with "bad player" I rather you just shut it cause it makes it seem like you are unable to have a proper arguement.Yeah its a difference of opinion but the problem is that people are conditioned to accept bad balancing like they are holding you hostage. Most players dont play the seasonal units because of what you stated its because they are strong. No one plays garbage units, because when you arent winning you arent having fun. You fail to realise that units have been powercrept and they will continue to be powercrept so long as you accept OP units as balanced.
Ona musha are strong but far away from being op. There are a lot of units that can counter them, to many to say ona musha are op.

I'd agree with C here...Jani's are worth time to unlock the blue unit. After that I left and didn't look back.
Azaps are simply bugged, i tested it- counterstrike doesnt work as it should and on watch does so little dmg that its completley pointless...
All units with shields work well agains the ona musha, paladins work espacially good agains them but palace guards also work well
Once you finish all the seasons you should make a tier list

Really disappointed on the performance of azaps, they used to be my favourite go to fun unit

Janissaries with wood doctrines are like 4 star arquebuisers really. Get a tone of kills with them.

Okay before I watch the Video ill make a guess.
Janissaries, hilariously strong for a blue Unit and problably outperform everyone except stompy cav.
Azaps, really bad. They are purple and I think 240 leadership, but fold like wet paper even against blue units that cost much less leadership.
Sipahis, will perform solid but not great. Like noticably old but its still stompy cav so they can put out work if the stomp actually works and the Unit AI is not fucking you over.
Silahdars, you pay 300ish leadership for a Unit that looses against everything but blue and some weaker purple units.
In general I think both Ancaps and Saladbar suffer greatly due to their leadership costs for what a below average unit they now have become.
uhhhh... you left out the BEST unit from this season. those gunners are my favorite gun unit in the game. the are low tier but very powerful (provided you have good doctrines on them). you can just leave them in a nice tight defensible spot and they will work wonders (in both sieges and TWs) so i suggest having another go with this season or at least have another look at the janissaries.
The point is that we know jans are great so no need to test them

I’m gonna make some predictions, azaps are super trash, happy cav do better than expected (which is nothing btw) and salads are amazing against blue tier and lower only. Let’s see how I do
