Q. The price of electrical energy is Rs 60 per annum per kW of maximum demand plus 3 paise per units.
Lamp 1 costs Rs. 1.50 and takes 100 W and Lamp 2 costs Rs. 4.00 and takes 30 W. Both gives the same candle power and have the same useful life of 1000 hours .
1. Out of two lamps which is more economical.
2.At what load factor both the lamps are equally economical.
