Just got my class A CDL today 8/15/14 thanks Billy I recommend this place to anyone looking for a CDL without the bs from trucking schools.
I investigated everything from the schools that cost thousands to this CDL truck.com. I had never driven a semi before. What they promise is true. I got my CDL in 3-5 days with a score of 100% on my test. Billy and his wife Jennifer, made sure I had the questions and answers to the test, always answered my calls and stupid questions, and made sure I knew what I had to do to score my 100 on my driving test. There isn't a better value in CDL training. I highly recommend these guys.
I just want to say you are awesome Billy. I am learning so much more by watching your videos than by reading the manuals. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
I recently passed my road test thanks to BIlly and the videos he put on here. It was extremely helpful dont think it could have been more laid out. I recommend going here for anyone who is getting their CDL. Thanks so much!

This is my favorite video...It's very informative and helpful. Heading out on the range today for my first 1:1 session...See you out on the road..be safe. Peace.
Great video man very simple and very detailed thank you so much
just FYI, most all trailers have air tanks. Also remember that the reason for slow air build is not due to the trailer tank, because if the red knob is not in you are not supplies air to it. I have been a diesel mechanic for 20 years. Love the video. I am by no means badgering you I promise. Also l, in most states they require you to test each brake valve individually. just some FYI. be safe and keep rolling
Thank you for the video. More stuff to remember than I thought. My test is in a few weeks and this definitely helps.
Excellent training and instructions...Thanks Billy
Great video, it'll help me on that "off to on, then press"
I remember doing this for my class B, good video
nice video training, i have been studying this video for months, also including other educative videos trainning parts of the CDL exam from my city, and this video has been one of the best on youtube and I already learned the 10 steps to my air brake system. is a challenge 4 me cause, i'm studying the manual in Spanish, and all the tests I've taken on-line are in English, with the help of my manual florida state and I'm bilingual I prepare myself enough. thanks billy !!!
If you watch this video and Jason Davis' series, you can't lose. Thanks for the great video

Good details to know. Like it
The air brake test is mandatory to get an air brake endorsement on your driver license to legally drive a CDL truck with air brakes. All driver license offices administer this test.
Very helpful thank you.
Thank for the local knowledge.
thats great to hear, thank you for the info
thanks for the tips
great stuff billy thanks for the info
Thank you for the great comment!
Great video.
Automatics have been out for years. More companies have opted to automatics because of safety & fatigue on their drivers. Drivers can concentrate more on the road instead of shifting. The computer does all of the shifting now.
Great video
Thank you!

I'm going to watch this video until my eyes bleed,.. Great job Billy boy.
In Connecticut we do the governor check.
I just past my Air brake test in Edmonton , Alberta Canada
It was Horrible school , 6 hours training in the Class 15 minutes Practice in the Truck Should be Opposite
Great video on air brake test good details!
In Texas they don't require to time the air governor.
is this test gonna be on every test ? just wondering what to be prepared for
are semi's going automatic now?
I have a curious question for you, can you drive a vehicle if it does not pass the air break test but, a mechanic says it's okay to drive. Meaning there is like a leak in the airlines and it is causing the second air tank to go to 60psi in about a minute but, when its on it stays in it operating range.
+jeallen25 it's never a good thing to drive a truck that has a leak. I would go to another mechanic or find another driver that can help you find the problem. Usually it's a very simple fix. Get a home bug sprayer and fill it with warm water and dish soap. Spray all the air lines, brake chambers, leveling valves. You will find the problem when you see the bubbles. Leave the truck running while you are doing this. Also check all the air bags including the sleeper air bags as well as you air seats. Good luck!
it is a good way to remember it but you got it the wrong way lol its key off key on or engin off egnition on.
I saw you billy
its a kenworth
i work at peterbilt and i got to say the automatic trans are horrible. 10 speed trans are bad a
