The gotcha question could have easily been dealt with by admitting the historic definition of "adult human female" while recognizing the additional context of changing culture or worldviews that necessitates ongoing discussion. Instead, she said I cannot answer this question because I am not a biologist. I'm pretty sure her fellow travelers would not associate the term woman with biologically determined distinctives instead of social constructs.

It's natural behavior to self associate with like individuals. The tricky thing is that up until the sexual revolution, humanity was trying to rise beyond our animal behaviors. Now they're accepted and even lauded. Seeing human success as your success isn't difficult when you look like that human... And I love dogs as much as the next person, but their "I'll play with anything" attitude stems from the fact that they are 100% cared for and pampered. You remove a dog from the privilege of a human home and it returns to natural instincts, sticking around dogs close to it's breed and size rather than a mixed pack like the dog park.

I watched the Senate confirmation hearings, and Sen Cruz's questions had NOTHING to do with race or her sex. The majority of his questions for KBJ were about her sentencing decisions as a judge.
Her answers disturbed me greatly, because it showed a pattern of her sentencing convicted p*dophiles to much less than the minimum sentences.
This is disturbing to me for two reasons. First, being sympathetic to those who r*pe children is a problem in my eyes. Secondly, it shows a disdain for separation of powers: legislators wrote laws with minimum sentences, and she thinks she's above that and can do whatever she likes regardless of those laws.

She went there to change HIM, not to learn anything herself.
Heck, just look at her face around 3:40 when Cruz points out the way her side treats Clarence Thomas. That subtle forced smile of frustration as if to say "how dare you call us out on our sin, you apostate?"
Additionally, did you notice that when Cruz pointed out how she framed her question she denied that is what she said, when she used those specific words in her question?

Voted for Cruz in 2016 primaries, and will vote for him again if he runs in the future. Same with DeSantis.
I don't know American politics in depth but I have heard Ted Cruz speak in some videos here in YT and I found him very interesting. I searched him on Wikipedia because i wondered why he wasn't a prominent figure in today's politics. He seems a good candidate for the future 👍😁

I don’t believe that we need racial diversity in any or all fields. I believe that we absolutely need racial acceptance from all fields. Putting a black or Hispanic person in a particular role doesn’t mean that they will actually perform any better.

Its the Diversity Equity and Inclusion policy to literally judge based on race. Consider their race when deciding to hire someone - and consider their race when considering to critique someone. Thats why 'racist' has become such a casual insult the Left throws around all the time - because they're actually thinking about race. They don't realize that Ted Cruz in this example was specifically NOT considering race. Thats exactly NOT racist... But from the DEI perspective, you have to consider race every time you interact with someone, and so endorsing someone is seen as racial support and critiquing someone is seen as racial discrimination. Because thats how the left thinks.. Its crazy. I think the term is 'projection'.

Some people see racism or sexism where there is none and that is the huge problem. Especially when choosing judges only the most qualified meaning those who understand and abide by the constitution should sit on the supreme court. If an activist has the ability to flip and legalize actions that may not be ok now, say make it legal for blacks to be racist against whites what would happen to this nation? I know this example might seem a little extreme to some out there, but it is at the extremes that the most damage can be done.
Unfortunately, this is not "a little extreme" anymore... they are actively pushing it... and succeeding... There are some places where it is considered a *Felony* to misgender a person, even upon the first meeting... and they absolutely refuse to accept an apology without going on a tirade and filming it if they can. That is only a half step away from that so called "extreme position" and they are actively working on that as well, just not as successfully.

I am an old white veteran. When I was in the Navy in the 1980s, a fellow veteran I worked with that happened to be a black man, was approached by some other black men for not hanging out with them. His response was he must have been born the wrong color. Which of these black men was being racist?
Justice Jackson is not qualified. She was nominated on the basis of being black and a woman. She had the opportunity to prove she had the merit and experience to be there during her interview however she blatantly failed to do so. She refused to answer any questions asked of her. Couldn’t define what a woman is. And her history as a judge is riddled with judgments being overturned, her sentencing of violent criminals being extremely lenient and well outside the minimum sentence requirements for the crimes convicted. She also has a history of defending and releasing child predators and pornographers. She flat out does not have the experience or qualifications to sit on the highest court in the country. She also was not the most qualified candidate for the seat.
That's correct. A study was done that found that those leaning conservative did not adjust their behavioral patterns around those of a different ethnicity. However, a majority of those that lean liberal were noted to have simplified their speaking patterns and used a more authoritative pattern of behaviors. So the right-leaning viewed another them as another person, and the left-leaning viewed them as inferior.

I'd been a Dem ALL my life - I probably still am an old school liberal - I just don't recognize my party anymore. When I saw the things they were saying about Clarence Thomas, I was really horrified. The N word was openly used, pictures with a noose etc. I think I blocked a lot of it out of my head because who really wants to remember that. I'm not religious but my mom was Catholic and I was raised in the UCC (United Church of Christ) Church, and you're taught not to wish bad things on people - EVEN your enemies. People think that because someone has the wrong political party they can say anything they want about another human being. Tempting as that sometimes may be - in my opinion it's morally wrong to do that. So this attitude is shocking to me. I know Dems always make fun of Cruz but he is right on this. Is this what happens when you raise your children without some kind of positive spirituality? I don't know.

I don't know if you've already done a reaction to it, but Justice Clarence Thomas's high-tech lynching speech would make a great video. It is a 15 minute speech and Joe Biden was head of the committee. It was an absolutely glorious speech! The democrats did a copy and paste job with Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Conservatives view people on merit/actions/appearance (e.g. do you dress appropriately for interview, job, class…or you demand exceptions because you think you’re special; or dress like a thug, assume you’re a thug)…hold background, merit & diversity of thought as key education & hiring aspects with skintone or gender as a potential tiebreaker
