Hi, Jerome 🖐️ How are you? I think, that in the past life you was an excellent teacher, because you tell us very interestingly about Bonsai trees 🌲 🌳 and it’s feel, that you love and devote to your craft 💯👌
Great video as always Jerome! I have a couple of junipers called “Media old gold” I have not yet discovered what type it is alike the most. Do you have any idea? And pear rust can be a problem for junipers. Some branches of mine had the fungus growing, so I cut it out. What is the best way to keep that away?
I repotted my juniper tree six weeks ago and the leaves are going brown??? Not sure what the problem is ... The tree is about 15 and was growing great before the repot .. I am in the UK.. thanks great video 🙏✌️
Not sure without seeing the tree. Perhaps you reduced the root ball too much or did not water properly after. It could also be that the temps dropped below freezing after repot or that it was placed in a windy area. Do any of these apply?
@@WeareTheBonsaiSupply thanks for your thoughts 💭.. It might be a bit of all of the above .. maybe not the root removal.. Fingers crossed the tree recovers. 👍🙏
I live in Michigan a week ago I got permission to dig up seedlings in someone's yard. Comes to find out they are Eastern Redcedar seedlings. Which after further research I found out they are actually a Junipers species. So. My questions are. Is the name Redcedar 1 word or 2 Red cedar. And do these like the same drier conditions then other Junipers? Or is it roughly all the same care??
I've seen both 1 and 2 word, also the eastern or Virginia juniper all commonly used both in the horticultural trade and common use. Juniperus virginiana is the official academic/botanical name.

sabina is actually the most common juniper used as bonsai globally such as brazil africa and europe
That may be true but the video is U.S. based. and here we don't use Sabina.

Hmmmm to flavor gin
In the Netherlands gin is called Jenever, think the name gin is derived from Jin or Djin from Ginever
🥰🥰👍
👍👌🙂
