- hi everyone! kurt and i are back from our trip to the US and hope you enjoy the vlog :) we managed to get there to enjoy what felt like the last week of summer weather-wise so it wasnt quite the east coast autumn we expected but we had a lovely time :''') love always!

Lifelong NJ resident with family in Boston so this vlog just hit me differently. The cinematography and the shots you have create such a rich, incredible atmosphere that has somehow managed to capture so much familiarity to me that other vlogs in NJ and Boston do not. Incredible video.

I love little Louie, the squirrel finder and guard of home, and I'm glad to see Kurt enjoying the open spaces of the US and taking a break. I think Boston seems a beautiful area to live or visit, really lovely aesthetics. Personally, I just love the scenery and seeing the new area where your parents now live. Seems a really nice family area. You and Kurt really need to get a puppy companion, you both love doggies, think about getting a dog...
I love seeing where you take us, but I'm wondering if you've done all of Busan. I really like there and the big island park you took us to once before I think. That just blew me away, huge park/garden on an entire island!
i love the area too! its definitely more 'country' than where i was raised (lots of roads dont have street lights at night!) but i could get used to it!

I've been in Europe for the past 10 years but grew up in Princeton, NJ. Trader Joe and Terhune Orchards (for apple cider) are always the first places I go! It's so lovely to be able to visit home through this vlog and I'm glad for you! (Also, the vlog is absolutely gorgeous- you're showing off our corner so well!)

There's just nothing better than New England in the fall! Even if it is a bit warmer than expected. We just moved to Texas from New England and I miss it SO MUCH. Looks like you guys had a great trip!

i live on the west coast in the US and fly to Seoul 3-4 times a year to visit my mom and i am jet lagged during all my time in korea and for a week in the US when i return. jet lag is for real! glad you and kurt had an enjoyable visit to our east coast.

I grew up in that area of PA you were in, (even drove to Doylestown every month to visit grandparents lol) I live in eastern Washington now and have been soooo homesick this autumn. All these shots of the wide neighborhood streets and those glorious trees pulled right at my heartstrings 🥺😊❤

I highly recommend reading the Dreamer trilogy (the sequel series to the raven cycle) if you love the Gardner museum! The museum plays a not insubstantial role in the series and some of it is set in the museum itself! I only know about the museum because of Maggie Stiefvater and the Dreamer trilogy and now its the museum I most want to visit! Hopefully I'll get to see it one day!

Fall is the most beautiful time to visit the Northeast. It's fun walking around college campuses. My husband and I were in Ithaca and walked around Cornell's campus. We were too old to pass for students but we kept imagining what it would have been like to go there.

I recently visited Boston for the first time in years and also loved the multiple universities. I toured Harvard and MIT as well, so I can see why that would be a draw. I swear that I went to the same place for seafood too! You didn’t say or show the name but the area looked so similar. I love how easy it is to get around the city too.
I love that Kurt was willing to be shown in your video more. Seems like he stays away from the camera as much as possible but this time was more in front of the camera. He’s such a cutie, and the moment he saw that you were filming and reacted was hysterical.
I'd say the vast majority of the US does get to experience fall/the seasons. Those of you in the deep southwest and southeast are missing out heavily, I'd wither away without the transitional seasons (spring & fall) to look forward to. It's so surreal to be sitting here in South Jersey watching a travelogue about my state. I'm so jealous when I see someone got HOT FRESH apple cider donuts.
As a New Englander I can say besides Portsmouth NH, Boston is tops on my list. Looks so relaxing for the both of you.

Speaking about jet lag, today i just got back from my first overseas trip. The thing is that i’m having this specific unwell feeling during 6 out of the 7 days of the trip. And i just realized that i’m actually having a jet lag, lol hahaha😅, and then i’m feeling it again right now when i’m back and this time is worse.
