I would like a sailboat like yours... Easily trailerable, launchable ;With a bit of room to take cover if you want to get out from under the weather...Equip it with auto pilot, auto warning from on- coming shipping, etc.;and a nice place to nap when at anchor in a secure anchorage...I think a boat like yours meets these desires.
I highly recommend the compac 16 if you want to daysail. This little boat with its 400 lb keel is very stable in any weather. Easily trailerable and launches pretty easily, I think it is the ultimate compromise. I've sailed off Tobermory, the North Channel and even Lake Temiskaming. If you like no hassle fun, the "micro cruiser" is the way to go.
