I do not understand why so many denominations believe Jesus is talking about "water baptism" in this passage, clearly Nicodemus is talking about going back into his mothers womb, so Yeshua is refering to embryonic fluid (water).
The dangers in misinterpreting this passage is making water baptism a salvation issue.
I pray this translation helps to understand the truth of this passage.
Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

@@sakkekvist2495 praying is not just asking for results. Praying is direct communion with God. It also teaches me about his character. He hears and listens to every thing we say to him. Sometimes the answer is no and we don't understand why. His ways are so much greater than ours and we don't always know the greater picture so to speak. Please don't give up on Him, He will never give up on you. Talking to God is a great gift. 👍 Keep praying and you will draw closer to God.

There is a text in 1john 5:16 where the disciple talks about a sin that is not unto death , I am therefore greatly perplexed by this since the wages of sin is death , what is the apostle talking about.
