Sosa is a great example of someone who came from real, gang-oriented, violent street shit to chilling far and away in sunny Calabasas being a beloved living legend. Granted, you can say he made it out that way because he was basically not allowed to return to Chicago, but I think he still listened to some very wise management to get out of that hood shit, make your money, and enjoy your career without looking over your shoulder from the police or someone else looking to kill you for clout. Dude is living the life, he was just on stage at the BET Awards after a decade-long ban, and he's still respected as both a rapper and figure who survived all that O'Block BD vs GD shit a decade ago being the godfather of drill. Boskoe is 100% right when he says you can get the limelight and leave that hood shit behind by being an entertainer without believing some silly shit you have to put in work for the streets to respect you. You can't be a famous gangster, like he said, and you can go way back before John Gotti to Al Capone, John Dillinger, or Bonnie and Clyde when the feds were looking for any and every way to take folks down for being famous gangsters. It's just stupid these days unless you accept that jail is going to be a major part of your life.

@@Dakidpepe Well he still lived in Chicago after he blew up but after his own people robbed his house, he said fuck this and dipped. Even living in Calabasas is smart since that's a part of the city that's more secluded, a lot of private residential streets with gates and guards, and you can have a whole mansion there for much less than other parts of LA. He can chill there with no worries and focus on making money being independent. That's how all these young people with promising careers should do it than believing the streets, even your own neighborhood, isn't going to hate on you, or otherwise get indicted or killed.

Can I say something? You’re right. Boosie shouldn’t have held his securities strap while his security had to run and take a piss right quick. Boosie is the bag. But when Mo3 passed away. Security around Boosie had a strap & didn’t protect in time. Boosie got wounded. You don’t think that mentally messes with someone like naw. If my life in danger. I need to be near something because I can’t risk my life. And that in itself, an example, is why security placed it in Boosie back and stepped away a quick second only to come back and get it.
