Gripper Event Simulation

Event simulation of a Festo style gripper using Autodesk Fusion Event Simulation. Using event simulation we can see how a design performs as loads and positions change over time. Note how the cylinder slips upward at the end of the simulation as the contact angle increases and friction is overcome. Using these types of simulations, the design can be modified to overcome unintended behavior before the product or machine is built.
