The DeKalb Youth Symphony Orchestra is the honor orchestra of the
DeKalb County School System directed by Mr. Philip Barnard.
Composed of enthusiastic young musicians from across DeKalb County, DYS provides musical opportunities beyond the regular curriculum and offers students the chance to learn and perform music from a vast repertoire ranging from Classical to Modern, Opera to Pop, and Musicals to the Movies, recently debuting a new Scottish Symphony.
