I just moved from Oxford after living there for 6 months. I kind of miss it now... I think it was the best place I've seen in the UK so far. I hope someday I can manage to live in Oxfordshire again! Nice vid :)
The Oxford economy has grown massively since I lived there as a student in the 90's when the place was cheap (£30 a week for a room), and, outside the Uni area, quite shabby in places, although I loved it! On top of all the underlying forces pushing up UK prices (insufficient social housing or new building full-stop, the low cost of borrowing, a cultural obsession with housing as investment, every politically calculated incentive under the sun to prop up the market etc), Oxford has the additional problem that there is a shortage of available land. There has long been a local political/bureaucratic culture in the city of not making any new land available to build on. Which helps the city retain its character but increasingly makes it impossible for people who work in the city to live there.
I saw you filming this video in the Brasenose lane! :) actually it's quite interesting that you chose to film the questions in a different street than the answers, why did you choose it this way?
I wanted to study at Oxford, and I wanted to know how expensive is Oxford? so this is a great informative video
Thank you!
Damn expensive bro
I lived in Oxford for 2 years, and I must say...
They are absolutely right. Oxford is as expensive as London.
It’s crazy expensive !!!

Hi dear! I hope that you are having a good day. The reason of the changes are that I wanted to ads a change to the eyes and it's 2 minutes away :-)

Is your bed comfortable? 😂😂
You will be surprised. I was helping a lady who was paying £600 for a shoe box room, and her bed was on top of a wooden pallet. True story, 100%!😄
Please, consider not adding music over the voices in the future as it's difficult to hear the speech as a result. Thank you
Totally agree with you 100%
