PXG 0211 is C$ 275 and fairways are C$ 205. Don't get all the fancy adjustability, but you could easily beat 1 yd/ $. I get near the yd/$ with my 5 wood, and I have nowhere near your speed.
I paid $549 for an average of 220. By my math, that's $2.50/Yd.

I did that a few weeks ago with the Aerojet! I offered someone $300 for a brand-new, in the plastic Aerojet on eBay and he accepted my offer. It came with the Kai'li blue shaft in stiff flex. Now, I don't average 300 yards, but I usually hit 5-6 300 yard drivers over the course of a season, so does that count? LOL

This comes to £3,735 now or $4,600 US or $6,400 Canadian. Now if Matt could get a dollar a yard...

Well, with my Autoflex and Stealth 2 plus, I need to hit it 1,500 yards. Any takers?? I think mine is $5.75 a yard. So sad.
The COR Faces and driver head sizes have been maxed out for over 20 years. When hit on the sweetspot, a driver made in 2023 will go as far as one made in 2003.

Picked up a Callaway Rogue ST from their preowned site, listed in "like new" condition for $250. When it arrived it was still in the new packaging. Last driver I bought before that was a waste of $500 on a Taylor Made M4. Thing is trash compared to the Rogue.

The vast numbers of players are either old folks like me ( we have the reputation of taking care of our clubs and for a long time when we are fitted for the better ) or weekend’s gamers younger but having a family at home and morgage and a car and the studies and so on so on to assume monthly basis.
Once I got fitted and happy with my driver at 699 $ ( CA ) and the younger folks who have to convince his family that paying 899$ make sense….you are reaching the top ….and the market will slow down for a while thereafter. And I have not talked about the rest of the bag and these days we are talking 3,000$…..
So dear Titleist’s of this world start to develop brooms or hockey sticks or whatever because creaming the market has a termination date ….

I would absolutely pay $1 a yard for a driver. But today’s price for a new one would have me pay closer to $0.50 a yard.

The average driving distance for all male golfers is about 216 yards, while the average driving distance for female golfers is about 148 yards. Why do so few youtube videos live in the average space.
because better players hit the ball longer than average through better technique, most people don't want instruction/testing from someone of an average skill level
The average male golfer doesn’t golf very much and isn’t the target of specialty equipment RUclips channels. The average distance of this channels core audience is likely much higher than 216 total.
