The best tycoon game ever (Workers and Resources) is due to come out soon Comrade. We all can't wait for you to produce several series, and follow you along your amazing dictatorships, Comrade Potato. How about naming the first town, "Potatograd?"
For another movie tycoon sim, might be worth keeping an eye open for Hollywood Animal, which seems to be focused on all the glamour and seedy underbelly of the the Hollywood movie machine.
But can we actually design and script and direct action etc and make movies with it, like we could with The Movies? Or is it kind of just another, albiet more in depth, movie making management game? It looks the best I've seen so far, but I want another game like the movies that allowed us to actually design and script and make the actual movies, rather than just choose sets and actors and various 'set-dressing' stuff revolving around the management of making movies and press a button to make money. If anyone ever manages to make a game like that again it'd have a lot of guaranteed followers.

My biggest question after seeing this list, when can I manage to play just the ones I'm interested in, because there's absolutely no chance I can play them all. I could hear my credit card groaning with fear, two rooms over!
Why you add trailers of not existent games that will never come out? Supermarket Manager. It was never even started. Just trailer. Too low number of clicks and they decided not to do it. Btw. the company went bancrupt. Those RUclipsrs... always unprofessional. Do your homework before uploading stuff.
Blockbusters perhaps will fill the void The Movies left.

They have a free early game out. It was really boring, it was like a wannabe the movies... Very sad

There is a game called "Casino Resort Tower" which is flying under the radar unfortunately but it is so cool

It does have some big shoes to fill. The Movies was just oozing with character.

95% of these games have 25 year old graphics. Just... bin them, ignore them, don't present them. Absolutely junk.
