    This is an outstanding review, you showed features that even etrailer didnt have on their website like the locking part. Nice work

    HINT: once I found the correct depth of the 'stinger' on to the hitch I took some whiteout and marked the two top corners of the stinger so I could eyeball how far to push the bike rack on without having to 'feel' for the hole everytime!! Works like a charm.

    I appreciate the description of anti-wobble around 3:32. I am not getting any side to side wobble but do have a slight amount of up and down movement. Any ideas on fixing that or if that's normal?

      @rackattack  2 года назад +2

      Hello. On this 9044 Classic model, there is the side to side anti-wobble, no up and down anti-wobble, the Pro 9034XTR has the corner wedge which provides horizontal and vertical anti-wobble. Thanks!

    Thank you for the helpful video - RE bikes with fenders - can you not lock the hold down hook over the frame instead?

    • @rackattack
      @rackattack  2 года назад

      Hello. The hook is designed to support the bike at the front wheel only.
      Thule offers another models that grip to the frame:

    instead of the 2 bike add-on, would it be possible to attach a 2" cargo carrier basket?

    • @rackattack
      @rackattack  2 года назад

      Hello. The end of the bike rack is not a two inch receiver and can not accept any thing other than the T2 Classic add on. Thanks for checking!

    I just bougth this rack yesterday but I am wondering...with the license plate partially hidden, don't we risk getting a ticket?

    • @rackattack
      @rackattack  3 года назад

      Unfortunately, you are correct. Yakima make a mounting plate that can be strapped to be bikes once they are mounted, but depending on your local bylaws this is still not sufficient enough for us to guarantee that you won't receive a ticket.
      The mounting plate can be seen at the link below: www.rackattack.com/hitch-bike-racks/yakima-platemate-license-plate-mount/

      Ferny Melgoza, the 1-1/4" model is not intended to be used with the add on, as per Thule's instruction manual.

      The T2 Classic has no security for the bikes included at all. You'll need to upgrade to the T2 Pro which has integrated cable locks for each bike.
      Or use a supplemental security cable/lock that you feel is appropriate for the bikes you carry and environment where you leave your rack/bikes unattended.
