@@TheTimothyThibodeaux no. For extreme slowmo you need very high light levels. Look how bright their studio is during this entire video. That's for a good reason. They likely filmed the sparklers bit in the fully lit room and you can see how dark even that shot got during the fairly tame slowmo.
Quick safety fact that's neato: Sparklers deflagrate (burn/explode-ish) exponentially, meaning the more you have compressed, the hotter and faster they burn disproportionate to the ammount of sparklers burning. (EG 1 has a power of 1, 3 have a power of 10 and 5 have the power of 100 for a theoretical example) Be careful with 'em! I don't want to post the recipe in the comments, but it's dangerously easy to make a pipe bomb accidentally with them strong enough to (not to be graphic) but easily remove a limb. I like the multiplier concept, keep the bowling, and see how many sheets of hearty cardboard you can get through. Highest nu.ber at the end wins! I wanna see how many points! Many points!
Yeah, the important part of the wrench throw was the angle. It was practically linear in it's force and travel, concentrating the momentum and such onto one small area of the head. If it had landed long-ways, I'd wager 2, maybe a lucky 3.
From the distance he was standing it would have never land longways. The wrench is heavy on one side making it rotate to that point and once it hit the dry wall the sheets took out that rotation and made it go straight
Perfect release on the Wrench, stayed level with the big mass at the front that made a big hole so that the following big handle never got snagged or had to make it own hole that would slow the inertia

As someone who has made many a sparkler bomb, all I could say when you were lighting all of those sparklers is, "what are you doing?!". Glad you are still with us.
I just remember that when I was young 14 people died and 250 people went to the hospital with burns because they lit too many sparklers in a busy club during new years eve. The sparkles that fly off cool quickly but the core is burning metal at 1000°C - 1600°C according to a quick web search.
@@jjbankert a bit of context: is was Christmas decorations that caught fire and caused a short but very intense blaze. The sparkler was just the first flame.
I really enjoyed the escalating multipliers! It gave everyone a chance to comeback and win (thus keeping it interesting). Maybe you could throw things through some sort of water ballon. It would be messy, but could be really cool on the slowy. 😉👍
When they threw the sparklers onto the ground I’m like get a fire extinguisher the place is going to go down in flames until the start but when they threw it at the wall the sparklers and the sparks coming off it made it feel like Christmas time great job dudes
I do very much enjoy these “how many layers” videos! Keep it up! I’d also like to see a yoga mat or the thing under your sleeping bag when you go camping type thing.
I'd love to see some slowie watermelons getting objects blasted through them! Objects would have to be smaller, but I'm sure you could come up with a bunch of ideas 😉
The glass sheets got shattered mostly by shards of glass from the panes before, either shattering completely or already cracking before the object even got there, and so reducing the amount of energy from the projectile absorbed by each layer. That doesn't happen with the drywall, the impact with each layer completely absorbs that same amount of energy so the projectile is stopped earlier
Having a bit of a rubbish time regarding my health at the moment but your videos make me smile. If everything goes to plan I'll be back to normal in a couple of months so keep creating your videos so I've something to watch while I'm recovering from my treatment. Holy sheets! The only thing a recorder is good for.
Also stoked for how the Lego left a Lego shaped hole
You could get different colored wall papers (and even get a 44 club and a HR wall paper) to put up to smash things through. I'd love to see the slowie of Rexy tearing through a bunch of wall paper.
Micheal is amazing
Might be interesting if the greenies are kept separately and then one gets pulled after every other round as a bonus throw. That way nobody misses out on a round but everyone still has a chance for one of the best items.
love the new multiplier systems, makes everything way more exciting
11:30 Is it just me or is the perfect rectangle left by the Lego just so satisfying.
Not just you mate. That was cool.
Much love to Michael, the unsung hero of HR!
I really think Lego brick walls, like a single thin wall…would be amazing slowies but that prep would kill.
Hey I got the next thing to throw through! You should definitely try doors 🚪 . If you could find the cheap flimsy doors they would work perfectly! Love the vids keep it up
Question is.. HOW MANY??
@@draw4yourlife3 like 20 hopefully
My brother kicked through one once.
@@ventusnoctis284 I dented a metal one
I just love those videos. Breaking stuff. Just for the fun of it.
How about trying ice walls?
Replace the plates of glass/drywall with plates of ice.
Those sparklers hitting the dry wall in slow mo looked awesome, so satisfying.
I'd love to see sheets/blocks of ice used in this series haha, you'd have to keep that room pretty cold though which would be hilarious
Yes!
Nice. Was looking for this before posting the comment.
I think that it'd be awesome if you guys did this challenge again, but dropping items from the tower. Love the video guys, very entertaining
You should do this but with vertical glass dropping stuff from the tower
WE NEED MORE VIDEOS MORE OFTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
14:47 “4*8 would’ve put you in the lead!”
Herron: 49 points
Gaunson: 14 points
4*8 = 32
14 + 32 = 46
49 > 46
You’ve been factchecked Stanford
As someone who has made many a sparkler bomb, all I could say when you were lighting all of those sparklers is, "what are you doing?!". Glad you are still with us.
Hahaha, same.
@@SteyrR Yeah, I was freaking out!
@@russelllukenbill as soon as the first sparkler lit, "yo, what are waiting for"
I just remember that when I was young 14 people died and 250 people went to the hospital with burns because they lit too many sparklers in a busy club during new years eve. The sparkles that fly off cool quickly but the core is burning metal at 1000°C - 1600°C according to a quick web search.
@@jjbankert a bit of context: is was Christmas decorations that caught fire and caused a short but very intense blaze. The sparkler was just the first flame.
I love you legends and I feel so badly that I laugh so hard when one of you gets hurt, but my goodness that was funny!! Derek, you are a champ!!
I just went and watched it and I agree, the 103 uses for shovels videos is the funniest video they’ve ever made
That sparkler slow-mo is actually incredible
I want more fireworks slow-mo from these guys!
Try throwing through duct tape or "duck tape" just tape a single layer over frames.
He had to throw that wrench like a spear to get a near perfect throw like that, that is EXTREMEMLY impressive
when you are actually someone who helps producing them ... watching this ...
SATISFYING AF
WRECK THAT BOARDS
do exercise balls or aluminum sheet metal. then again would love to see an arrow or sledge hammer verse a fish tank of orbies
I like how they melted their floor with magnesium like it was no big deal lol.
That said, I suggest saran wrap walls for your next one!
I really enjoyed the escalating multipliers! It gave everyone a chance to comeback and win (thus keeping it interesting). Maybe you could throw things through some sort of water ballon. It would be messy, but could be really cool on the slowy. 😉👍
That is a cool idea
How many water balloons stop a javelin?
Sɛ houvpigcg
All mini games look so fun👍
I love this series, maybe next time you could use cling wrap
Meh. I thought of that, too, but that's a lot of plastic waste.
Throw your stuff through Lego brick walls. The colors would look amazing on the slowies.
omg. The prep for that would be insane....You'd need a hundred people doing it to make enough panels...lol
When they threw the sparklers onto the ground I’m like get a fire extinguisher the place is going to go down in flames until the start but when they threw it at the wall the sparklers and the sparks coming off it made it feel like Christmas time great job dudes
The slowie sparkler was
awesome
I do very much enjoy these “how many layers” videos! Keep it up! I’d also like to see a yoga mat or the thing under your sleeping bag when you go camping type thing.
This is one of the only thing on RUclips that is actually good
I'd love to see some slowie watermelons getting objects blasted through them!
The part where Brett threw the exercise ball at Derek's private area killed the hell out of me. Sorry not sorry Derek. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Architect sister: Yah, we have been dealing with an international dry wall shortage.
HR: Hold my beer
Having a bit of a rubbish time regarding my health at the moment but your videos make me smile. If everything goes to plan I'll be back to normal in a couple of months so keep creating your videos so I've something to watch while I'm recovering from my treatment. Just bought a Rexy to come to England and lift my mood. Cheers boys.
