I would come over a low ridge see a lake below me, and you could see fish rising. I'd get down there, and the fish were cruising in schools clockwise out from shore in easy casting distance. There were some very big rainbows. I tried everything in my flybox, walking along as they cruised, and couldn't interest them.
We love all of your content, Andrew, especially the occasional Silvertips hat sighting! Look forward to more in the future, though it's been tough this summer in Washington between the smoke, heat, and haze. Hate to bother you with this but you did a really cool video with Joey Cocanato a couple of years ago, Glacier Peak area I believe. Any idea what's happened with him? He's disappeared and many in the RUclips world are concerned. And thanks again for all the NW content, it's our stomping grounds and always gives us ideas and info!
Hello! Joey is still out an about. He just did a 10 day trip with Aaron in Mt. Rainier national park that I was also going to be on but literally a week before the trip I got a new job and moved, thus setting my PTO to 0 haha. He hasn't posted much because his harddrive on his computer failed.
@@NorthwestWanderer that's great to know, Andrew, thank you so much! Just returned from a short trip up around Cutthroat Pass, like you I just love the North Cascades!
That walk through at 23:00 🙌🏻 Amazing views and beautiful lake.
Nice Time lapse!
thank you!

Wow great video and scenery
Thanks for sharing your trip. Really enjoyed watching. Liked your ominous clouds adjective: cranky; perfect.
Great footage and thanks for sharing! Keep them coming.
Love the Beartooth's! Great trip and thanks for the vid.
Nothing like a Rocky Mountain thunderstorm. The Party elected to stay put and scout a potential route to a new spot.
Stunning scenery!Great shots!Glad you both were safe after storms.Pretty intense. The smoke has been a major deterrent for sure😟
