It all comes down to better optimisation, that’s why Apple is able to get away with smaller batteries and less RAM. The hardware and software is tuned almost perfectly so Apple devices are more efficient.
@@littlecode1 it all depends on how you take care of the battery, if you treat your phone like dogshit then you can expect that same quality for your battery
Battery life on Android was one of the major deciding factors in me switching back to iOS (something I thought I'd never ever do back in the day). I don't know if it's gotten any better since then, but the battery life on my last couple of iPhones has been excellent, under very intense activity.
I’ve seen people joke about the iPhone battery’s live and I’d say the opposite is quite true. Yes the iPhone has a smaller battery but optimization is also goes a long way. Instead of like evryone else ie Samsung really relying on well everyone else like android for the operation system and Qualcomm for their chips and have to work for a one size fits all. Where Apple just relays on well themselves to design stuff from both the hardware and software where they can control againts themselves more and bring with the most that it could do just like the battery explained in this video the same reason could be true with chips to where the snapdragon visually has better specs but the iPhone and their own chips beats them out the park. I’ve use the Samsung galaxy s21 and despite the bigger battery size on that thing compared to the iPhone 13 where with the iPhone I’ve noticed a better battery life.
@@123theprodigy5 iPhone 12 mini. I was skeptical about the battery size going into it (coming from a 7 Plus) but I wanted a smaller phone. Pleasantly surprised at how much use I get out of it from one charge.
The iPhone’s battery life only got good when the 11 series came out. Apple decided to actually increase the battery size instead of constantly making it smaller along side the phone.
When the 6 plus first came out in 2014 it was amazing on battery life the xr was good too when it came out but yes they really turned it around on the 11 series
Yeah, the amount of energy required to do particular task in iOS is less than that in Android. So, the iPhone just needs much less energy for similar operations. This is also true for idle/standby drain, which is very less on iOS devices.
When I was an android user, I was all about numbers. Battery capacity, storage, ram, etc… But when I switched to apple, I’m now more into how long my phone lasts per day. And I am impressed with apple.
Apple shows time and time again that designing the hardware and software to work together in a closed off ecosystem is dramatically more efficient than collaborating with different companies. Its no wonder they make the most powerful mobile chips on the market which are also the most battery efficient.
I reckon your statement is totally wrong. A chinese tech channel has more in-depth analysis on this topic, apple has better power efficiency mainly due to having the best production line from TSMC (which is one generation better than android counterpart) and better core and RAM management. It is basically all in how the CPU and RAM are clocked and powered under load and apple had tuned it better. Also recently snapdragon 888 and 8gen1 are total failure due to inferior samsung manufacturing, causing them to have less power efficiency compared to snapdragon 865. The newest snapdragon 8 gen1+ is made by TSMC again and it is 20% more efficient compared to the chips produced by samasung. Currently the snapdragon 8 gen1+ is only about two generations behind the M1 chip by apple. If they use the same process, the chip itself is just one generation behind.
@@unknownkw How are u saying I’m wrong while essentially making the same points I made? While bloatware is annyoing and not a good thing, I think its portrayal was a bit exaggerated, at least when it comes to certain manufacturers. As someone who has owned Samsung and Honor devices in the past, the bloatware was nothing more than a few additional apps that sat on your homescreen upon first setting up your device. They did nothing except existing there, because in order for them to do anything like "spamming notifications or ads you'd first need to open them, which people don't do because they immediately uninstall them.
Bloatware is sometimes hidden in "apps in apps" also they dont have an icon but are listed in "apps". Others aren't even listed but can be seen and uninstalled when rooted. The manufacturers are really Tricky. Im about to unbloat my 22U since i heard that batterylife can be improved by like 40% at least

The type of batteries used makes a lot of difference. my phone has a capacity of 5000 mah but i was surprised by its weight. its below 180g....then i looked for the type of battery-its li-polymer, making the battery lighter. i have heard that phones generally used li-ion batteries, but now i think brands are switching to lipo as battery capacity and charging speeds are going up.
I have an iPhone 6 since 2015 and the battery is pretty much done now. It lasted for 2 hours maximum. Last year I got the iPhone 12 mini and the battery life is pretty decent for my use, especially since the battery lasts forever compared to the old iPhone 6.
As iPhone 12 user, I can say that optimisation can not always work, the battery output on my Device is actually poor. Also battery health has dropped to 85% in 11 months, which wouldn't have been a case, had it packed with a bigger battery.
Charging habits affect the battery health. I have a work iPhone that only get changed when I need it but is always on but my personal iPhone (used to) be charged charged every night. After a year the health is down to 88% while the work one is still at 95%.
When the phones are similar size/volume; I’d like to know what Apple prioritised in their phone over a larger battery. Like maybe the speakers or Taptic Engine is larger than speakers and haptics found in Samsungs or whatever… Is the motherboard smaller on Android devices?

My iPhone 12 still doesn’t last as long as my friend’s Samsung A51 when running high-power apps, but I’m pretty sure it lasts a lot longer when the phone is dormant or not using a lot of apps. Even my old 8 lasted much longer than an Android user would expect a 1,600 MAh (I adjusted for battery aging) to last
@@casuarius6576 You think I don’t know that? My phone destroys my friend’s A51 in everything but battery, since his is a budget phone and mine was a a flagship
This makes sense. I had a friend from high school who used the Note 7 when they were new. Even when the phone was recalled. When he decided to turn his phone in for the modified phones Samsung was offering, he used it the same as the first one. He never had any issues with it.
My iPhone 13 pro max is 8 months old it has 100% battery health probably cause I rarely charge it, for heavy use it easily lasts me 3 days and 6 days when I used it sparingly. It's crazy!! Love it!!
The Note 7 reference is actually wrong, the issue that caused those phones to blow up was that the manufacturer of the battery had slightly wrong measurements about the cells size, and therefore the edges ended up squished a little bit and curving on themselves, which caused them to basically short the battery internally and it obviously, well... exploded, etc...
1. "Takes longer to charge" I can guarantee you that even a $100 budget android device has at least 13w charging speed, which makes that point less valid. 2. You only cited one example why a larger battery is dangerous, and the example in question didn't happen cause of a larger battery size but a flaw in the engineering.
I mean but he is right about both simce even if a $100 android device has 13w charging the battery life would still be horrible in comparison to the iPhones even if the battery is bigger And bigger batteries are still dangerous since phones nowadays are getting incredibly thin so a bigger battery can cause what happened with the note 7 again with a new phone simce a bigger battery requires more testing and caution since there’s a bigger room for failure in the battery
Wouldn’t a larger battery, in terms of capacity, swell more than a smaller battery over the same amount of time/charge cycles? This could potentially be more dangerous.
@@fuiwfnbnufjehnfojui4251 what's the science behind that reasoning? Do you expect tablet batteries to swell up cause they simply have larger capacities?
@@JohnMushitu I wasn't trying to start a fight as your first sentence made it seem. Tablet batteries can dissipate much more heat due to their huge size. The phones on the other hand are much closer in size with different capacity. This is all theoretical of course because each company introduces different thermal managing tactics wether it be software of some form of heat sink/vapor chambers. But lets assume that the two phones charged in the same amount of time and had no difference in heat dissipation apart from the slightly larger area of the larger battery (which might be negated by the fact that they charge in the same amount of time.) This would mean the larger battery would experience more heat since it has to accept more wattage to achieve similar charge times. More heat and the phone being below its discharge capacity are major factors in determining the chemical breakdown causing the swelling. Im not going to pretend for a minute that I am an expert on lipo batteries and I am not an apple fanboy, I was just responding to your statement about their not being a reason cited why larger batteries were more dangerous. This is of course such a minor difference in lifespan due to how most charge their phones e.g. 0% to 100% constantly, not to mention that most change their phones every 3-5 years.
My 12 Pro Max is nearly two years old and I still can get easily 10+ hours of screen on time with heavy usage and the battery is at 86% health that is something even 2022 flagship Androids cant do. iPhone is built to last :)
I have an old SE that's jailbroken it's only has 80% capacity or around 1200mah it can pull off 6 hours of screen time on 20-50% brightness it's insanely efficient

While the power efficiency of Android has gotten *considerably* better than it was 5 or more years ago, it's still difficult to get it as good as it can get without real specific optimization. Apple's custom hardware helps too, something that many Android OEMs have began to learn as well. Rather than just shove octa-core off-the-shelf ARM designs into phones, and compensate with fatter batteries, they're starting to go with slightly customized builds too, and I'd assume that could greatly help.
As an Android user, I can only say that we don't care about battery size. We just don't want to be part of an ecosystem with no customization, no freedom to choose, or an update from games a whole month or 2 later than Android. It's alright for what it is, but I haven't touched a working Apple product in 8yrs, and that's mainly because they weren't even my devices.
Ios 16 beta has a lot of customization, changing almost every part of the lock screen, adding customized widgets/logos, changing a variety of system sounds, linking siri with smart home devices, it also runs surprisingly smooth on my iphone 8, a 5 year old phone. Although the iphone 8 doesn't have the best battery life / performance (in comparison with modern smartphones) , the only thing that feels old about it is the battery life (still with its original old low capacity battery) and design, i use windows devices, having not owned any other apple products. My samsung gear s3 frontier (which i brought before owning my iphone) is paired with my it and working perfectly, it even links itself to the apple health app on my phone, my windows laptop can connect itself to the iphone via dell mobile connect, working perfectly in mirroring/transferring files via bluetooth and forwarding on phone calls to my laptop. Even though having an apple ecosystem would most likely be a more affable experience, ive run into no problems/disadvantages by not being in it, as for updating, I've never run into an issue for updating apps/games as everything works perfectly with no issues.
who? Whenever i see an argue android users vs apple users android users always tells some crap like "now try to tell that without charging your phone", and whenever someone tells that new iphones has a better battery duration they dont even know what to answer. about customization that is issue no more, bc i iOS 14 (if i remember good) they put a tonshit of homescreen customization, and now in iOS 16 that is releasing in no time the customization of the lockscreen is also a thing. and about "freedom to choose", tbh if you want to do stuff "out of the system" that much, you can always jailbreak your iPhone, but not a lot of ppl does it, why? Bc is stupid, the phone already works wonders so that is why iphone users doesnt have that need, you rooting your phone/installing a custom rom is the perfect example of you not being comfortable with your phone. and about apps is like, totally subjective, there are a lot of apps that comes faster in the app store, and the other way arround, that totally depends on the app and the brand that makes it.
Why would i need to install something apple wouldn't want me to do, everything i need is on the app store, unless you're into downloading modified uncertified apps/games and jailbreaking (voiding security) , which i have no interest of doing as a individual.
Another (maybe) trick that I noticed on my iphone 12Pro is that, whenever I am not actively using it, the battery parcentage stays same but as soon as I start using it drops few parcent with 2/3 minutes. lets say, I put my phone with 60% battery without any usage for 3 hrs, then after 3 hours when I get back to phone I usually see the same 60%, BUT as soon as I start using it, it drops 4-5 parcent within 2-3 minutes for nothing.
Percentage is hard to calculate. Your battery hovers between 4.2 volt (100%) down to 3.5 volt (0%) and there is fluctuations on voltages That's why I don't use battery percentage (apple phones by default)
@@houghwhite411 depends on algorithms. If you see massive jumps in battery percentage either down or up, you should drain the battery one in a while to 0%, then charge it to 100% to calibrate the algorithm.
While I agree, a bigger battery in an iPhone would use that higher efficiency even more. So a bigger battery would still be better. That being said, my iPhone 13 has excellent battery life. But sure it would be better with more

I am currently getting 8 hours minimum to 8:20 max screen time with iPhone 13 pro on single charge. I was shocked to learn that battery capacity is just 3000 mah
Depends on what you're doing. Since iPhone's kill apps in the background and is heavily optimised, it just consumes so much less power. But that's only for modern iPhone's.
Androids get over this issue by packing huge ass batteries. I have a Xiaomi smartphone with 5000mah battery and i get 12hours+ "Screen on time" and this is not reading articles or whatsapp, this is after watching RUclips at 1440p and scrolling instagram.
@@shahan484 those aren’t power intensive, try video calling on cellular networks; if I did your tasks the iPhone 13 Pro Max is looking at 15+ SOT easily
What is new to me is how a bigger battery could be potentially dangerous. I guess that’s partly why simply increasing the specs on a certain feature isn’t that simple, cause the whole thing needs to work well together. And even apple doesn’t get it right always, look at the iPhone 12. Many have said the battery wasn’t that great While it’s definitely remarkable how well advanced tech has gotten (and continuing to be more and more advanced), we still need to realize how fragile tech is as well
Tight integration between hardware and software is the goal. Not only do you get better battery performance but also better software performance for lest specs
2:32 Interesting that you claim larger batteries may "take longer to charge" when across industry, in the higher tier of smartphones, Apple's products charge the slowest. And let us also remember that there is a positive of larger batteries. Reverse wireless charging from your phone doesn't take as large a percentage of the battery capacity.
I love the battery life in my iPhone 13. I rarely have to charge it during the day and use only about 40% on good days. Although, I can get it down 80% on the harder days. But I never bring a phone charger with me as I don't need it.
@@jason-ub8qz Bro have you even had a 13 or 13 pro? the battery life has been proven time and time again to be the best. I don't have to worry about charging it, it lasts all day
The not sevens problem was actually the layers of lithium touching inside the battery and causing it to catch fire and it was due to over heating but overheating and no room for expansion
It also comes down to the chipset Atleast the new galaxy Z fold 4 with a smaller battery has out lasted the galaxy S22 Ultra with a bigger battery at 500mah.. These 2 smartphones uses different SOC..
Even with the higher efficiency, Apple should still consider a 5000mAh battery. That won't necessarily take too much extra space especially for the already big phones.. Make the phone even greater.
As a programmer and a lifetime Android user, the problem that is not mentioned in any video like this or any video that is related to iPhone vs Android, is that there are a couple of very important factors why iPhone battery consumption and performance is better than Android in every way: 1. Apple uses the latest gen silicon because it is TSMC's most important customer, so the chip that you have on iPhones are usually one or two years ahead of Android. 2. If you are familiar with mobile programming, you know that nowadays you write ios apps with swift, which is a compiled programming language, and Kotlin or Java for Android, which both are not completely compiled and have worse raw performance compared to ios apps. One of the reasons that iPhones want less ram is that and why, in the past, Android phones just couldn't keep up. 3. Don't forget the optimization on iphones. It is natural that if you put time in as few products, you can have a better output, compared to a company like Samsung that releases like 100 phones in a year when Apple releases just 4 phones in a year, that is why all iPhones receive the latest version of ios in the same day. 4. The amount of money that Apple puts into research and development is not like any other company. That allows them to think about every aspect of the phone very carefully. And this is just me saying it. I choose Android because of the freedom that it gives me, because if an app is not available in my country through Playstore, I can just install the APK, I can just plug my phone into my PC and enjoy Android's file management capabilities, I prefer to spend 500 bucks on a midrange Android phone rather than spending a 1000 on a flagship phone, These are the things that may not be a priority for most users but they are for me, otherwise in my opinion iphones are just better in every other way.
yeah crazy that they perform better whilst having a smaller battery and less ram its literally like magic no wonder they use that on their products names
Because apple's processors are much more energy efficient and don't need as much juice as their android counterparts, simple as The apple chip gets 30mpg the Snapdragon/exynos get 20/15 mpg

To talk about iPhone's small (tiny) battery topic, it's unfair to use the current iPhone models or the pro max lineups. The real issue is the old iphones. Their batteries were ridiculously smaller compared to androids. That was the time when iPhone's smaller battery was really the issue. I didn’t make the switch to iPhone only when iPhone 12 is out. Before that, especially in the era of iPhone 4 and 5, I was REALLY discouraged with how TINY iPhone's battery back then.
iPhone 6s battery is a joke, even new. Plus models though, always been great I believe, at least my 8 Plus does the job excellently in regards to battery
Our Computer Science professor used to tell us: "Hardware improvements will only take you so far, real efficiency and optimization is in the software. Efficiency and Optimization is 30% on the hardware level, 70% on the software level."
Android users laugh at iPhone’s small battery and lower spec cpu/ram, then realize their higher spec phone with larger battery actually plays the games worse and lasts shorter. Android’s higher spec and larger battery, as he said, is a necessity. If iPhone had the same spec and battery, android would just be dead ( for example compare current iPhone to OLD android is like if the iPhone had same spec as android)

@@MobiusGT you do realize for them to do that, they need to ask every single manufacturer of each product apple uses to make the parts slightly thicker to fit in the phone, first of all, that will cost a lot more money, second of all, will take a long time to complete, and third of all, they will need to redesign every single part, as well as every part apple creates themselves, its way more money efficient to just make phones larger currently and thats what apple and everyone else is doing
Hopefully apple makes a 5000mAh battery for the next iPhone. Yeah the efficiency and optimisation is good but combined with a large battery that would be killer
Now I want to know why Apple doesn't load their phones with a bunch of bloatware while a lot of Android phone manufacturers do. Also speaking of bloatware, do NOT buy a phone from AT&T unless you want like almost 2GB of bloatware that you CAN'T remove. I bought a used Galaxy S9 that was on AT&T, and it came with almost 2GB of pre-installed AT&T apps and you can't get rid of them unless you root your phone and install a clean version of Android. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going with AT&T.
Android has usb c that can charge faster than 20watt, lightning cable still uses slow charging takes around 2 hours compared to android 20min for bigger battery. All without paying $1099.

Battery life on Android was one of the major deciding factors in me switching back to iOS (something I thought I'd never ever do back in the day). I don't know if it's gotten any better since then, but the battery life on my last couple of iPhones has been excellent, under very intense activity.
Nice, what iPhone do you have now?

0:02 never ever
1. "Takes longer to charge" I can guarantee you that even a $100 budget android device has at least 13w charging speed, which makes that point less valid.
2. You only cited one example why a larger battery is dangerous, and the example in question didn't happen cause of a larger battery size but a flaw in the engineering.
I mean but he is right about both simce even if a $100 android device has 13w charging the battery life would still be horrible in comparison to the iPhones even if the battery is bigger
And bigger batteries are still dangerous since phones nowadays are getting incredibly thin so a bigger battery can cause what happened with the note 7 again with a new phone simce a bigger battery requires more testing and caution since there’s a bigger room for failure in the battery
Wouldn’t a larger battery, in terms of capacity, swell more than a smaller battery over the same amount of time/charge cycles? This could potentially be more dangerous.
@@OG_Gyekye what happened with the note 7 was just a design flaw, cause the battery was bigger.

Wow! Nice explanation, Apple is doing really good!
Comes down to weight mainly, the 13 pro max is heavy enough as is, putting in an even larger battery will only make it heavier.
As a programmer and a lifetime Android user, the problem that is not mentioned in any video like this or any video that is related to iPhone vs Android, is that there are a couple of very important factors why iPhone battery consumption and performance is better than Android in every way:
Very interesting. iPhone is state of the art that doesn’t give you much control, Android flagships are mediocre but give you more freedom.
yeah crazy that they perform better whilst having a smaller battery and less ram its literally like magic no wonder they use that on their products names
Efficient display (variable refresh rate), Efficient processor, Efficient modems and optimised software = Battery Beast
it's actually the complete opposite, bigger batteries = less charge cycles considering the power draw is constant but whatever you say lol.
Bro I'm living in 2023 and I got iphone 14,but there is a minor issue here where the battery drained when you don't use it for a long time.
Because apple's processors are much more energy efficient and don't need as much juice as their android counterparts, simple as
The apple chip gets 30mpg the Snapdragon/exynos get 20/15 mpg
Apple designs their own chips, samsung and others uses chips from other companies like AMD.
@@LordCoeCoe how uses AMD on mobile phones?
@@MaxMustermann-vy7ur well he want to say snapdragon or mediatek
@@LordCoeCoe AMD don't make ARM chips. I think you mean Qualcomm
I love you so f’ing much
If someone says iphone has bad battery, I'm gonna send them this vid
My iphone 13 pro lasts me a day and a half ez with still 10-15% to spare. I dont mind living in walled garden of apples as long as they keep making such beautiful powerful n efficient devices
It just works so well together it's lightyears ahead of most Android phones it is just so seamless I don't need to worry about it I have an iPhone and an apple watch and it's great already and I'm sure it will get better the more apple devices I have. Ofcourse it's expensive but it's worth it in terms of reliability and integration ( I'm a Samsung user myself )
fr, i tried using android and it sucked from the moment i took it out of the boxes, each one had terrible batteries and died within 5 hours (my ipod touch u lasted longer than these), they weren’t cheap, they were flagship phones (note 10+ and s20+), they got slow within a yeah, get warm whenever it’s used, and bruh the batteries are swelling, it’s only like 3 years old, i have ipods and iphones better then them, and software just has bloat and facebook couldn’t even be deleted, i think i’ll stay in this garden, im using a iphone 12 rn atm
@@Azik688 Yes, but I've personally fallen for that narrative that apple products are pricey- of course that holds true when you are talking mac pro wheels or a 20$ cleaning cloth or their leather accessories but when it comes to the hardware they offer a superior and unparalleled experience- beside unless one Is extremely unlucky to get a defective unit, all apple products lasts 5+ years ez without any hiccups - No one talks about this. Andriod gets buggy and slow in 2 years so one usually ends up paying more than buying just one good iPhone lol. My sis still uses iPhone XR and it's buttery smooth. And yes the eco-system is truly fascinating- I can answer calls, read texts on my watch or my mac- I can share files easily across all devices and track them all at once- even airpods could be tracked!! - mine got stolen recently and I was able to track them - With the advent of m chips - I can't even nitpick on the macs - the battery life alone makes it worth having- lol - I was a one plus guy but I've pledged my bank account to apple for the remainder of my life lol
@@saturnalia__de_fala_amo__002 Yep- tell me about it- I started with HTC v1, then got my first note 3 back in the days- and was using one plus every since it came out- but finally I got bored of android -and the awfully tall phones - One plus 8 pro- felt like a punishment to use- ever since the m1 chips came out I started w my first mac and have fallen in love w apple products- few moths ago I got my first iPhone pro device going all in into the apple eco-system- it's the best decision of my life. What no one talks about is -or at least it seems to be the case w me- I'm super excited to work on my apple devices every single day- very few purchases can offer that effect for more than a 2 weeks period- lol- even almost 15 months since my first day of using mac- I feel so good to open my mac and work on it and not worry about battery life or bugginess- I only wish they pay more attention toward gaining and bring more games to the Mac- only for this one reason I still use a gaming laptop
The fugly notch tho. The thick bezels. And the slow charging. Not the high price of Iphones, that's punishment for isheeps.
For me as an android user its true, i always remove any unnecessary apps when i buy a new phone
Lol u never bought oneplus? My 5t was empty, no apps other than Google basics. U must be using Xiaomi or Samsung. Those full of bloatwares.
@@fynkozari9271 Flashbacks to my old samsung galaxy s5 which had every possible bloatware installed 😨

Galaxy Note 7 in this video: BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED.
battery health feature is also matter while buying Apple devices
this really opened my mind. great explanation
Got a iPhone 12 Pro Max and it’s better than my Samsung Note 10 & 20 batteries. My Note 10 even experienced battery swelling
People tend to think that battery would just shrink in capacity. No. They're wear item and they do swell and break (or die)
There is no magic phone with guaranteed "the capacity just gets lowered each time BH goes down"
A bigger battery means nore otg cable time too. And sides i can ALWAYS install a battery manager or tun on power saveing and it lasts a long time (especially ultra power saveing. DAYS of battery.)
Greg, whenever I think I made the wrong choice in going full apple ecosystem Your smooth down to earth words remind me why I did. 🤣 It is just better. Glad there is competition out there but glad to ride the apple wave. The balance is good
Your smooth down to earth face gets me so hard
I just got a new iPhone 13 pro max and I got it with 88 % and now it’s 13 % afther like 12 hours over several days usage
@Operanix wdym? it’s normal that ur phone isn’t 100% when u buy it?
But wouldn't it be awesome if Apple includes the big battery too ? 2 day battery king
Because now one needs to replace iPhone batteries every 2 years. Battery degradation is a thing
apple takes advantage of every bit of space in the iphone, there is no space for a bigger battery
Your my ponjinkto
I think the most important thing is the processor power, A15 bionic is almost 2 Generation more powerful than Qualcomm, this gives the processor more time in the idle state or less time in the full power state, Which is converted into less power hungry device
I’d actually like to see how a 5000 mah battery would do on an Iphone tbh.
Maybe when we stop using lithium batteries.
SOT would be like 14 hour lol. iPhone 12 Pro Max with 3600mah already last longer than most 5000ah android phone so iPhone with 5000mah would be overkill
@@dxtnguyxn4179 fair enough I don't think it would be overkill though as useage will adapt.
500mah iphone would weigh over 300gms xd. ig the size on 13 pro max is good enough
@@ishaansharma489 weight size wouldn't be that big of a deal.
"size doesn't matter, it's how you use it"
Actually, in my experience i see that most people select their phone based on the numbers (ram, battery) and they tend to mock apple for their expensive phones (especially apple haters)
I did such thing in the past, regret it. My best phone so far is an iPhone
@@satsumagt5284 Samsung is excellent
now that Google is making their own phones it's going to be interesting to see how they optimize Pixels to their full potential.
I moved to Apple phones because of android bloatware. I don’t like Facebook and should be able to remove it from my phone. Remember it’s your phone and not Facebooks phone. Great video sir. Greetings from Reynosa, Mexico 🇲🇽
I love you so hard me amor
It doesn't take long to change for instance Android uses Higher watts on their. Like Xiaomi 120w can change for 20mins
I'm still laughing how the Galaxy note 7 literally exploded in your pocket even when you weren't doing ANYTHING on it.
Yeah, people getting injured is hilarious.
@@jorgeaateixeira yes it is, I agree
I still laugh when remember apple actually made the first bendable phone
Samsung used to have bad quality build. I had Galaxy s2 back in 2014 and that phone made me hate Samsung.
iPhones battery optimization started after iPhone 11 series and later. It's incredible 😍.
With the Plus Models and the X it Started getting better
Android users laugh at iPhone’s small battery and lower spec cpu/ram, then realize their higher spec phone with larger battery actually plays the games worse and lasts shorter. Android’s higher spec and larger battery, as he said, is a necessity. If iPhone had the same spec and battery, android would just be dead ( for example compare current iPhone to OLD android is like if the iPhone had same spec as android)
If an iPhone had the same specs as an android then it will cost a lot more, and at that dame price point there will be another android with even better specs. Iphone is just garbage. Accept it.
@@RexDCiPhone with lower spec still smokes all android in pretty much everything. Imagine if iPhone had the same spec. Sure it will probably cost more but it will beat all androids into oblivion.
@@jiajianhou426what specs are you talking about if your saying cpu then yes if your saying gpu your drunk
@jiajianhou426 samsung puts alot of power into gpus while apple dosent and puts focused om their cpus
2:52 This is actually false information. The Note 7s battery simply had a design flaw.
We Nowadays have batteries, which are twice as dense, while also charging them 10 times as fast in our phones and there are no headlines of exploding phones.
Big batteries are not dangerous. Neither are fast charging batteries. False information however is very dangerous.
Apple is just efficient
yes apple can do more than android with a smaller battery but imagine how dope it'd be if it had an equally large battery. Like mkbhd always said a slightly larger phone for significantly better battery life is always welcome
they're running out of space in the device, even the boards are sandwitched together...maybe we'll have to wait until a new battery tech evolved providing more capacity per weight or size
or just buy an iphone 14 plus or pro max and always turn on power saving mode, i used this feature even at 80%..the chip is good enough to give me best user experience and responsiveness even with power saving mode is on
@@Peatex I think you missed my point. I'm saying if a couple mm thicker is all it takes for a larger battery, I'd be down for it. And yes I already use the larger phones.
@@MobiusGTand again, there is literally no more room left, even mm, thats the reason iphones keep getting larger and larger
@maybelivxie i think you are misunderstanding me, i want a mm thicker phone so that it comes with a thicker battery. No one is asking for a 12" diagonal phone so that it can fit a bigger battery
Another disadvantage of higher battery capacity is that they age much faster because of the high energy the battery consumes
Isn't it the other way around
Hopefully apple makes a 5000mAh battery for the next iPhone. Yeah the efficiency and optimisation is good but combined with a large battery that would be killer
Android users left the chat😂
Now I want to know why Apple doesn't load their phones with a bunch of bloatware while a lot of Android phone manufacturers do. Also speaking of bloatware, do NOT buy a phone from AT&T unless you want like almost 2GB of bloatware that you CAN'T remove. I bought a used Galaxy S9 that was on AT&T, and it came with almost 2GB of pre-installed AT&T apps and you can't get rid of them unless you root your phone and install a clean version of Android. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going with AT&T.
This is why Android can never beat or come close to Apple
Samsung will beat Apple in 2 years
Point is it doesn't need to as long as it's affordable no matter how good the iphones are Android will always have the leading market share
They both have advantages and disadvantages over each other
Only if you are using it for 10 hours straight without touching grass
Android has usb c that can charge faster than 20watt, lightning cable still uses slow charging takes around 2 hours compared to android 20min for bigger battery. All without paying $1099.
FYI
battery issue in galaxy note 7 is not because of its too large capacity, but because of some error in the design that makes the battery cell layer bent and causing leak
Apple doesn't get bothered by larger battery capacities of Android bcoz they know it's about OPTIMIZATION and not NUMBERS.
My hypothesis: so it drains to 0 as fast as possible
iPhones are just better.
They work better, they feel better, and they last longer.
Next do a: Why doesn’t the iPad RUclips app have community tab??
I don’t care about battery life because I wake up, go to school, relax, and repeat. But I’ll never use android or get an oculus because I’d like my data.
Didn’t expect a French RUclipsr in an English video
Anyway every battery life test like the one from MrWhosetheboss point to the iPhone 13 Pro Max is the king of battery life
Glad to see that apple give a Max variant even for the classic lineup and not just the Pro
