Can you imagine the timeline where this became popular instead of Pokemon? By 2020 there's 1000+of these horrid food monsters; birthday parties and kid's bedroom sets adorned with their favorites; people wear full Puddington bodysuits to cons; Detective Spaghetaboutit just came out. I want to live in that timeline.
Looking at Google Trends, "fighting foodons" DID go up from 7 to 100 after this episode!

This is one of my all time favourite drawfee episodes and never fails to make me feel better whenever I watch it. Sometimes I just have a moment where I’m like, “Damn, I need to listen to four friends say ‘Spegettaboutit’ for ten minutes.” And it really brightens my day. It really does.

The canon Feastivus is like if Charizard, Spyro and a hemorrhoid pillow got in a the fly esque telelporter accident.
I am so embarrassed rn. I LOVED that show as a kid and when it went away I legit was so sad. For years of my life I tried to remember the name of the show and felt like I had imagined it and that it wasn’t real. Now that I realize it was real I’m so embarrassed for child me who loved the show.
Aaw that's sweet but also slightly amusing! We all have That Thing From Childhood. My brother, for instance, just rediscovered Hero 108, which is probably much weirder.
Don't be embarrassed. I'm sad that I didn't get to find this show before everyone now flocks to go watch it now that Drawfee's talked about it. I'm jealous that you know what they're talking about.

My childhood show I thought was a fever dream was 2001 remake of Cyborg 009. I thought I made it up 'cause some of the stuff was just so bizarre I thought only the mind of a child could make it up like:
The main character cyborg could slow down time by pushing a button that's a his molars in his mouth. The leader of the heroic cyborgs is a super smart telepathic baby. The "friendly-rival" cyborg of the main character had a nose longer than his whole head, it looks like a bird beak more than anything.
I tried rewatching it a year ago but just couldn't, it was so cheesy and bizarre, yet I thought it was one of the coolest shows when I watched it as a kid.
It was a very entertaining show, I even rummaged through a sub/dub site just to see it again years ago. Don't watch it as an adult, you'll cry. But the theme song is still funny good.
Candyland (the boardgame) characters and dark souls bosses/spooky/horror versions of them! I'd love to see how you'd turn those sweet candy people into horrifying beasts!

When I head Spagettaboutit I expected some kind of Flying Spaghetti Monster (may we be touched by his noodly appendage). I did not expect Joey Wheeler who is Spagett but like Spaghett.

I am so glad things like this exist because I remember catching a couple episodes of Fighting Foodons on FoxKids when I was trying to watch Sonic X and I could never remember what it was so I thought it was a fever dream! The one thing I remember about it was the main character was frustrated that his Foodons were so easily beaten and they had to teach him how to cook better to get a better fighter.
