hi Cathy, I agree with the stitch from stash. If someone needs to see all the new things there are plenty of channels for them. I turned 70 this year and have greatly cut back-- who am I fooling I will never stitch all I already own. I also love to see any stitch made with love. thank you for your honesty.

Your ornament for your Son & DIL is so pretty.
I LOVE that Chickadee so much, they are my favorite bird.
    I MUST find this!
That's a very pretty shawl for winter.

Hi Cathy. I enjoy your videos to spend some time visiting with you. I enjoy the pieces you stitch, your joy in crafting, and the ideas you share. Not having new things wouldn't make a bit of difference to me. Stitching isn't about buying. You've supported the community a lot already. It is fine to take a break for a while. Stitching from stash is FFUUUUNNN!!

I would watch you no matter what. I prefer seeing older stash or things I’ve never seen before. I’m totally down with no more in 24’! I just love seeing your progress on what you are stitching.

Hi Cathy I just love to see your beautiful stitching and hear about your progress and colour choices - I also love to hear about your life and what you have been up to. The haul is not that important to me - and like you if I buy anymore I will need a bigger house!!! I am here for the stitching and find your videos relaxing and inspirational - you inspire others to keep going with projects or to be brave and change up colours or dye fabric. I appreciate your time in making them. We live miles apart but I feel like you are a friend when you chat...I live in Perth Western Australia. Take care and happy stitching. xxxx

Beautiful finish and just in time for the cooler weather. I think there are plenty of Flosstubes that have new releases to watch. I just like to see stitching and anything related to it. I love WIP parades or even kit parades, organization etc. Turkey thank you for an inspiring video. Take care

I enjoy seeing new things but it's not a requirement for me when watching flosstube. It is fun to see what people are working on and also seeing what they have in their stash. I forgot to mention on your previous video that I do not mind when you show other crafts. As you said, you usually do not spend a lot of time talking about it. That is great that you started up a stitching group.

I'll still be watching. While I like seeing new things, I don't know what you have, so it will be new to me.

Hi there! I'm planning on making a concerted effort to start using what I already have as well. For me, I'm much more about seeing what everyone is working on; their ideas for finishing, changes to colors and elements of the piece and hearing about challenges and successes. I really don't watch to see what people add to their stash so I wouldn't change my viewing based on that. 🪡👠

I have done stitch from stash a few times. I feel like it is good to do once in awhile since most of us have quite a bit that would keep us busy - LOL! Plus, I think it can be just as enabling for viewers because you may see an older pattern that you never knew existed! The new stuff is always easy to see, but those old hidden gems buried deep in our stashes can be the real treasures. Your finish is beautiful! LOVE the plaid backing such perfect colors. We always do turkey for Thanksgiving so we are looking forward to that! Happy stitching - Laura

Shopping your stash is so much fun! I mean we loved the charts when we purchased them and they bring us joy when we finally start them. As far as content goes, I love seeing charts that aren’t the newest and the stitching that goes along with it. I notice several of my recent purchases are older charts some of which are still in print so the designer is benefiting from those sales. I look to flosstubers for variety in my stitching, not just the current shiny objects. Embrace influencing because that helps the whole community as well. 😊 Love the crochet, sorry it’s too long. I’m not sure if we will have turkey this year but I love decorating for autumn from September til the end of November. Cheers!

Hi Cathy, I love your ornament pillow finish. So cute. Stitching from stash would be so hard for me even though I have probably 200+ pattern I just keep buying more. Maybe you can show us some of your patterns that you already have if you decide to stitch from stash. That would be fun to see. Also, you mentioned you like a lot of ornament patterns out of the 2023 ornament addition of just cross stitch, it would be wonderful to see the ones that appeal to you. I always enjoy seeing what everyone’s choices are. Either way I I always look forward to watching your floss tube. Happy stitching.

I was stitching from the 2023 Christmas ornaments magazine as I watched today. Stitch from stash if you feel called to do so…your pieces will be lovely and inspiring regardless of the year the pattern was released in.

Finally catching up with my very long list of videos I missed!
I like seeing new stuff but actually I find that when new charts come out you see them everywhere anyway. And if you stitch from stash, that would give us all opportunity to see some charts that maybe we haven't seen in while (or at all!) and it can help us explore some less 'trendy' charts. Plus I really enjoy watching other people setting goals and trying to stick to them, regardless of the outcome. I'm really bad at following on my plans and ideas so maybe that's why I enjoy watching other people work towards their goals. Whatever you end up doing, I will definitely watch your videos, although sometimes a few months after they are posted!

I enjoy your videos no matter what but it would be fine showing progress on your wips ! I also have to many patterns so looking at new purchases is not a good idea 😂. You could always share some of the charts you have in your stash if you needed more content 🤷🏻‍♀️.
    Thanks , Kim☀️

Stitch from Stash for a period of time is a good way to go! You may prefer not to go cold Turkey…maybe allow yourself $20/month to sooth FOMO. I will keep watching you regardless, my friend!😊 Karen of Prom Queen Stitcher.

Hello! I love your ornaments this year. They are really pretty. And that TURKEY pattern! I have wanted that for ages. Did you show it finished? I would love to see it completed!!! As for new things? Sure. That’s fun. But I really enjoy seeing what you are working on - old or new!!! Happy Halloween!! 🎃
