Wishing you all the best on your surgery. I understand how you must feel as far as not having any surgery in your past and not knowing what to expect. I also have only had oral surgery and no other operations so I would feel the same as you, not knowing what to expect. Hope all goes smoothly and you are able to do some things with that hand. The ornament you made for your son and DIL is so adorable! Regarding the '90s Welcome framed project you did, I think a newer frame would spruce it up. You could also do something different with it like put it on a project bag or stitching mat or make a drum if it is not too tall. I too am mostly left handed but do several things with my right. Hope the surgery goes well, don’t overdo it trying to stitch those mill hills. I don’t think they will be any easier than regular projects. I would use a stand and use 1 hand or use the down time organizing your charts, fabric, floss and craft room and make some plans for 2025.

Hope your surgery goes well. I've had 3 trigger finger surgeries. I could stitch right away! But I didn't! I just love the holidays coming up!

My husband has had 2 trigger finger surgeries. make sure to do your PT as advised and when the wound is healed do so gentle massage to help with the scar tissue. I LOVE watching Jenna and Nic for the past few months, they are really inspiring

Your dying is truly excellent…I want to try it but so far do not have the nerve. Your finished Christmas ornament is awesome. Thank you for the links to new flosstubers….you found different ones than I announced on my videos. I had hand surgery on my dominant hand but was not in a cast so I started using it when the swelling went down and was told my crafting and piano playing were a form of therapy for my hand. My prayers are with you. 🦉🦇👻🍁 PS I would rather the Christmas magazine be ornaments with maybe one item bigger…I am quite disappointed.

I have a suggested video to watch since you like home remodel. It’s in my home state of Indiana, but they have taken an old school and turned it into a home. It’s very interesting some of the things they find and kept. It’s called Schoolhouse Homestead. You’ll do fine with your surgery, I’ve had six hand surgeries and it’s a little inconvenient, but it doesn’t last very long. Prayers for peace and healing.

Good luck with your surgery,take it easy afterwards. Hopefully you’ll be back to stitching before Christmas. Someday I’ll go to the stitching meet up, always something else on the calendar for that date. This time the band I’m in is performing.

She bought a $1 dollar home and she's fixing it. It's going to look great. She's young and very resourceful. I think you'll like her videos. Another lady I watch is @JohannasDreamHome. Thanks for the shoutout! Congrats on 100😊 I just picked up the just cross stitch Christmas magazine yesterday and I don’t deal with change very well lol. I just want to stitch ornaments. I think if you sew fabric around the perforated paper and then put it in a scroll or q-snap and use a stand to hold it, it might be easy to stitch it one-handed? Good luck on your surgery🙏

Your kitty look so sweet! I bought the Gift of stitching electronic magazine a few years ago and I agree that it has a lot of goodies in it. autumn.

I bought the magazine bundle also, thinking of printing the project page for each one to mark what patterns I want to do. Stocking turned out great, I have had my share of mess ups with crochet, I slippers for a grandkid when they washed them they looked like Bozo the Clown shoes.....haha! Hope you have a great day
